All around the island of Dressrosa, the Birdcage began to shift inwards, slowly moving ominously to slice everyone trapped inside of it.
Buildings were cut to pieces as the sharp strings slashed through them. People screamed and ran away as fast as they could, but in the end it would be useless, since the Birdcage wasn't going to stop until the entire island was destroyed.
On the Palace Plateau, Sai and the other coliseum fighters were shocked to see the Birdcage moving.
Sai: The Birdcage is shrinking?! So that's what the panic is about!
Baby 5: That's the true terror of the Birdcage...honey!
She blushed when she said that, knowing that she would be Sai's future wife.
Sai turned towards his allies, looking determined.
Sai: This is an emergency!! Wake up everyone who's fallen!! I'm not gonna sit around and wait for death without a fight!!
Chinjao: All right!!
Meanwhile, Viola, the Fish-Man and Revolutionary Army member Hack were climbing down what was formerly the Royal Plateau, having also seen the Birdcage shrinking. An injured Usopp was hanging onto Hack.
Viola: Even this plateau will be cut to pieces if the fight is drawn out.
Usopp: Shouldn't this be the safest place? It's the center of the kingdom!
Viola: Look above us! The center of the cage is slowly shifting. The center of its compression must be over the palace where Doflamingo is now! Eventually, even our location will be destroyed...
Usopp: <scared> AHHHH!!! Hurry, Hack!!
A mini transponder snail began to ring on Viola's waist. She grabbed and answered it. King Riku's voice came out of the snail.
Riku: <voice> Viola! All that's left is the final fight between Luffy and him, yes?
Viola: That's right, Father. Doflamingo's the only principal figure left standing for the enemy!
Riku: <voice> So all of the Supreme Officers have fallen?
Viola: Yes. Brother Kyros took down Diamante, Roronoa Zoro defeated Pica, and (L/N) (Y/N) bested Trebol.
...
Zoro rushed off in some unknown direction. Kin'emon and Kanjuro were following behind him.
Kin: Sir Zoro! Can you tell me just where we are heading?
Zoro glanced at the shifting Birdcage before looking back at the two samurai.
Zoro: It's obvious. We're gonna stop that thing.
Kin/Kanjuro: WHAAAT?!!
...
An injured Franky stood outside of the Smile Factory watching as the shrinking Birdcage hit it. However, instead of cutting the building to pieces, it began to push the factory.
Franky: Get outta the factory, Tontattas!! We've destroyed enough of the internal systems!! Evacuate the building now!!!
A huge group of tiny Tontattas rushed out of the moving factory, some of them slaves, and some of them members of the Tontatta Corps.
