In the weeks that followed, Maeve and her comrades distributed the supplies they had intercepted, fostering goodwill and support among the citizens. The city buzzed with renewed energy as more people began to join the Resistance, inspired by the impact they were making.

Maeve felt the movement grow stronger every day. They organized rallies, community meetings, and outreach programs to connect with the citizens and spread their message. The sense of unity among the people was palpable, and Maeve felt a deep sense of fulfillment as she witnessed the changes taking place around her.

However, the Council was not idle. They were growing increasingly desperate, resorting to more extreme measures to silence the dissent. Reports of arrests and brutal crackdowns were becoming more frequent, and Maeve knew they had to be cautious.

“We need to keep our people safe,” she urged as they gathered in a secure location to discuss their next steps. “The Council is getting more aggressive, and we can't let fear push us into hiding. We have to find a way to counter their narrative and keep our movement alive.”

Dorian nodded, his expression serious. “We need to maintain our visibility, but we also have to be strategic. We can’t afford to lose any more of our people to their brutality.”

“Let’s leverage the support we’ve built,” Rona suggested. “We could organize a citywide march to show our strength. If we can get a large turnout, it will send a clear message to the Council.”

Maeve felt a spark of inspiration. “Yes! A march could not only demonstrate our solidarity but also rally those who might still be on the fence about joining us. We’ll show the Council that their attempts to intimidate us will only make us stronger.”
