"That's my name. It's been a huge honor to work with you sunbaenim. Some of my friends like Block B." Sam Kim said.
"That's right you're an idol too much. What group was it?... "
"Seventeen... They're called Seventeen." Sam Kim stated.
Having debut in 2015, Seventeen was one of the many up and coming in Kpop in the wake of the third generation boom. They were from Pledis, the agency that brought Nu'est so Loco was already enjoying their music.
Sam Kim was one of the three overseas members being from Seattle, Washington; the same birthplace of Jay Park. He has built a reputation for his impressive vocal performance. His love for jazz and soul can be seen by the different live performances.
"That's one of the new group I heard. I really like that theatre thing you got going on."
"It's mostly from Jihoon hyung that created the concept, we just follow it. I myself have some experience with musical theater so we try to make our music videos as unique as possible. We're a small fanbase right now but I think there will be a time where we take over. We just need to keep working hard." Sam Kim said with optimism.
"I like your attitude kid. It'll definitely come a long way in this industry. Let's go prop your up." Loco said as he helped prop the debut of Sam Kim: Seventeen's Young Prodigy.
