Zico collaborated with Nu'est's G.Soul for his upcoming song. G.Soul built his reputation as a former JYP trainee turned idol after joining Pledis. His American background and R&B voice has made him quite the popular idol. He has become a heartthrob among young Korean women for his looks. Two years ago, he began his solo career and hasn't been stopping since.
"It's nice to meet a good friend of Jay Park. Your visuals never fail to wow me. I might need to step up my game." Zico teased.
"Jay has told me a lot about you. I've been really messing with your group's music. We used to be neck on neck." G.Soul recalled his rookie days.
"Those were simpler times but now we got so many rookies coming out the factory that's it's crowded. At this point I'm just going at my own pace." Zico said.
"The same happened to us. Even though we made a huge impression on our debut, after two years our momentum slowed down. Work the kids from Seventeen, the company has now moved on to them. All of my guys are competing in Produce so it's just me and there's that girl group that came out this year. We're certainly going places." Zico nodded.
In the next song Zico take a flight to Japan where he reconnected with a local school. Some of the students were featured in his school as a dance team. He wanted to highlight his former home for the Korean audience. There are loads of references to Naruto to other animes.
