Hwasa spent her greater years as part of Mamamoo, a girl group with a sultry mature concept often rare in most idol groups. They had a very slow start but gradually over the years they managed to impress everything with their harmonizing vocals and mature dance performances.
She received praises for her unfiltered stage presence, for her unconventional looks, for advocating for body positivity against a toxic industry that rewards dieting. She is the icon for the women who felt insecure about their bodies. She always told them to love themselves, that it's okay if you have a bit of stretch marks or cellulites. The marks only makes the person. Having herself faced relentless bullying from a young age, she knows what it's like to be judged, to be disrespected.
She hopes for a more body inclusive industry, an industry they allows male and female idols to dance in their natural bodies, to not feel pressured to look a certain way.
In a way Loco was a lot like her. He faced criticism, often vulgar insults about his face. The amount of insults pissed her off, as if they know who Loco was. He could be a moron, but he was not a bad person. Her temper would flare and he would calm her back down. He had a way with words that could charm a tough girl like herself. At times she would lead, other times he would, but it was never tense. His six year age gap made him look more like a brother figure than anything. He would be baby her, even if it was too much.
Loco have just enlisted. She now had to focus on herself. During these nights she can't help but think about the Crazy Boy with Block B who won her heart. She looked forward to see him one day, to have her appetite craved.
It was tough being lonely girl. She counted the days when her beloved Loco would return.
