Zico has always been an MC before being called idol. He fought tooth to the nail against critics, mostly from the underground scene who hated the manufactured industry such as Kpop. He has the luxury of treading between underground and mainstream and collaborated with different artists from all walks of life. In a way a feature from Zico would be a guarantee for success. That was the power of his influence as idol.
