Season 1 episode 6: memories

As night approaches and the weather gets colder the students are all in their PJs. Yuki looks over at Kia who is staring out the window. Din looks at Yuki. "What's up Yuki?" Yuki sighs. "You see that guy over there..?" Din looks over and nods. "Yeah. Kia?" Yuki nods. "Yeah..I don't think he's too happy about me being here." Din tilts his head. "Whatcha mean?" Yuki sighs. "Well...years ago.."

Flashback: A younger Yuki is in the park on a swing. He's kicking his legs around and smiling as the squirrels run around in the grass. Yuki sees an injured bird on the floor. Yuki rushes over but just before he can get to the bird.. BASH! Yuki runs into a younger Kia. Kia drops his ball and it bounces around and a dog rushes over and bites it. Popping the ball. Kia's eyes widen. Yuki stands up and runs to the bird. Kia stands up. "Hey hey hey......where do you think you're going..." Yuki turns around. "Oh sorry!" Kia walks over and pushes Yuki to the floor. "You damn loser...you knocked me over...now my ball is gone..." Yuki stands up. "I said I'm sorry..." Kia clenches his fists. "Sorry won't cut it!" POW! He punches Yuki in the stomach. Yuki coughs out a little bit of blood as he falls to the floor. Kia smirks and walks away. "Damn weakling..."

A few years later: A 13 year old Yuki is walking to school with a friend. Yuki turns around and walks backwards and looks at his friend. "What do you think will be in the cafe ?" Yuki's friend looks at the floor. "Hmm...probably..." he looks up. "Yuki! Watch out!" Yuki turns around and bumps into a group of boys. Yuki looks up. "Sorry!" The boys move and Kia stands there. He kisses his teeth. "Yuki.." Yuki's eyes widen. "Kia.." Kia smirks. "So..you're coming to this school now huh..?" Kia clenches his fists. "I'm sure you'd enjoy another beating.." he walks over to Yuki.

Current day: Yuki sighs. "He was about to attack me again..but then.."

Flashback: Yuki backs away slowly and he starts to shiver with fear. Kia hardens his fist. "Now...TAKE THIS!" Yuki clenches his fist and swings at Kia. Punching him across the face. Kia's eyes widen and Yuki's fist hits him. The punch knocked Kia off of his feet. Kia who has been humiliated infront of all of his friends stands up and charges towards Yuki. "YOU DAMN BASTARD...TAKE THIS!"

POW!

Kia is on the floor with his eyes widen open. His nose is bleeding and everyone is laughing at him. Yuki walks over and puts his hand out. "Sorry Kia...let me help yo.." SLAP! Kia frowns. "Don't.." he stands up and walks away.

Current day: Yuki looks over at Kia. "That's basically the story." Din chuckles. "Well..good on you for standing up for yourself Yuki!" Yuki smiles softly. "Yeah.."

Kia stands up and walks out into the court yard. His phone rings. He looks at his phone and answers it. "Hey dad.."

In an office somewhere: "how is the school of heroes treating you son?"

Kia sighs. "Yeah. It's good."

Kia's dad: "good..good..made any friends yet?"

Kia: "yeah...a few.."

Kia's dad smiles. "Your mother would be proud.."

Kia sighs. "Yeah..thanks dad.."

Kia's dad: "well I gotta go son. But I'm looking forward to seeing you during the holidays!"

Kia nods. "Yeah..same.."

Kia's dad hangs up the phone.

Kia looks up at the sky. "Hopefully your proud mom..."He sighs and sits down on a bench.

Kia's mother died two years ago to the hands of a villain. Her body was found in an alleyway. She was attacked on her way home from work.

Flashback: Kia is getting ready for school. Kia's mom enters the room. "Honey I'm going now!" Kia smiles. "Okay mom! Have a good day!" Kia's mom hugs him. "I'll see you later! Love you!" Kia smiles. "Love you too mom!" Kia's eyes are glowing Blue and he smiles.

Hours later: Kia returns home and he sees a police car parked outside of his house. He rushes over and he can see his dad sat down on the floor crying. Kia's eyes widen and tears fill his eyes. Slowly his blue eyes turn yellow. "M...mom..?"

Current day: Kia's eyes glow red. He looks over into the dormitory and glares at Yuki. "You must be so lucky to have it all..." he clenches his fists. "Always smiling..." he walks into the dormitory and goes to his room. He shuts the door.

Yuki sighs and looks out the window.
