Chapter One
Sicheng froze, not moving a muscle standing there in the dark doorway that led onto the roof. And what had him frozen was his new teammate...his new Mid. His whiskey amber colored eyes could not help but track her every movement...as every damn move she made?
Every dip, twirl, leap flowed perfectly...made it seem as if she were made of water. He swallowed hard, as she bent backwards with perfect balance with her goddamn hands nearly touching the ground before she actually placed them on the ground and back flipped, easily lowering herself down to the ground into a split before she swung herself upwards once more, twirling beautifully.
However, it was the moment she swept into the most graceful bow he had only ever seen once with her head bowed, before she slowly titled it and looked upwards through her eyelashes that a memory slammed into him hard. He froze completely and utterly with his breath catching in his throat as a scene...or more like a memory, just like this one flashed through his mind. He had gone to a premiere ballet performance with his mother, when he had only been 23 at the time.
"Oh!" Yao froze as she turned and locked her eyes with piercing, contemplating, intense looking whiskey amber colored eyes of her Captain. "I...I didn't wake you or the others did I?" she asked nervously with a hard swallow as she walked over to the male as she picked up her phone and turned off her music. She was nervous because though the man never let anyone see what he was really feeling or really thinking, with being extremely intense, to her that is, and in control over everything he did it seemed.
"You didn't. I could not sleep and usually I come here sometimes during the nights when I can not sleep with too much on my mind." nodded Sicheng as he saw the worry reflecting in her dark chocolate colored eyes before he looked her over. She wore a tight pair of black knee length leggings and tight dark purple tank-tip with sweat clinging to her form...making him see that she had probably been dancing for a while. He fought back though the surge of lust and desire that spiked within him at seeing the way her clothing was clinging to her well toned, curvy body. "Impressive dances moves there, Shorty." he offered in a low tone as she paused from speaking at his words and watched as she flushed bright red with shifting some along with averting her eyes.
"Xiexie (thank you). If...well if you want I can stop coming up here. I don't want to disturb your routine as I can get the need or want to escape for peace." offered Yao with a soft as she shifted some as it would suck but if this was his safe place, she did not want to disturb his solitude. She swallowed as she peaked back at him and found him watching with her assessing eyes before he tilted his head as an unknown emotion flashed across his face.
"Don't worry about it, Shorty besides from what I can tell? You are not up here to chitchat. You're just up here to dance and relax. You're good to come up here any time, just be careful wandering around barefoot." nodded Sicheng with his lips tilting up into a small teasing smirk, pointing down to her bare feet as she flushed before she nodded her head.
