Summary: Someone provokes Chessman with his girl and said Chessman has a serious talk with his girl about something that was said that has his hackles raised.

Chapter's Warnings: Ai Jia and Yao are not as close as we have portrayed them in our stories or as it looks like in the drama, in this AU. This is what it would look like if the drama potentially showed his friendship he had with Jian Yang, because it was hinted that he was friends first with the Wilted Sunflower.

Jinyang and Yao are still best friends...however as a reminder as everyone probably noticed from the original one-shot? This Yao was raised differently and has a slightly different personality to her...So therefore, Jinyang might have one as well without having the need to become her best friend's constant protector. Considering that this Yao has never shown a childish or really helpless side to her best friend, Jinyang's protective urges are not as strong as they are in the drama when it concerns Yao.

Chapter Eight

"Where's Yao?" frowned Ming in concern as he walked into the base and locked his eyes onto nervous Rui, who was peering around him with a nervous glance. "They went next door and hopefully will be calm when they get back to the base." he offered and felt his lips twitching as the male heaved a sigh of relief.

"She went to relax in Cheng-ge's office." nodded Rui as he once more saw the man's pointed look on wanting his questions answered.

"We'll let her be there. For now, let's make sure that everything remains calm here because none of us want his ire coming down on us by accident because of the actions of the Mid next door in provoking him...I can't believe he did that especially with insulting Cheng-ge's honor like that. It's like he is seriously asking for a death wish because if the elder Lu's find out that he insulted their family's honor? It would be a nightmare." grimaced Ming with displeasure as he shook his head at Ai Jia's actions once more.

"Who has a death wish?" inquired Lao K as he and the other two walked into the base and frowned as he noted the anger in Ming's eyes and the fear in Rui-ge's eyes. His mouth parted in shock as both men explained to them on what Ai Jia had done.

"One he is an idiot and two? Can I punch him for what he said to our girl?!" growled Lao Mao with an overprotective look on his face as he was not happy with the Mid next door right now.

"I am going back out. I will bring home for food for our girl from her favorite place...but I am not sticking around." muttered Pang as he turned on his heel and nodded as Rui-ge immediately joined his side with a mutter of agreement as Lao K and Lao Mao opted to just go to their room as a chuckling coach told them to be safe as he was staying put as well at the base.

Lu Yue?" frowned Liang Sheng as he stared at his follow Captain with confusion but felt ice and dread curling inside of him as he eyed the obviously furious Captain for ZGDX as he stood there dressed in a short sleeved black muscled T'shit, black jeans, boots and his normal leather jacket with his eyes dark and cold as his brother stood there in dark black jeans, a white long sleeved shirt, sneakers and gray jean jacket with equally cold eyes.
