Chapter Ten
Jinyang swallowed hard as she opened the door to her condo and locked her eyes onto her best friend standing before her with a calm look on her face. "Yao-er." she muttered with a soft tone as she felt her breath catch as a soft look reflected in her best friend's eyes.
"We gotta talk, Jin-er. You're my best friend, my big sister of my heart and soul. I don't want whatever is wrong to fester between us. We have been friends for far too long." spoke Yao softly as she had made the decision when she had gotten up this morning that she needed to speak with her best friend no matter what. Her heart had filled with overwhelming love when Sicheng understood and drove her over here, informing her that just because he had a grudge right now against her best friend, did not mean she needed to have one as well.
"I know...I stocked your favorite snacks and drinks...just in case you visited me." offered Jinyang as she felt hope fill her that maybe she had not screwed up things with her best friend.
"Perfect and after our talk, we can put on that new drama that you have been wanting to watch with me." offered Yao holding out her hand to her best friend and smiled bigger as the older female grinned grabbing her hand and laughed softly as she pulled into the condo by the excited woman.

"Where's my Sǎozi?" asked Yue with a tilt of his head as his brother was leaning back against his gamer chair messing with his phone.
"Having a long overdue talk with her best friend." commented Sicheng in his normal low cold tone as he tilted his head, observing a document on a small one day convention, his mother was suggesting that after it was done, give them a few days of a vacation in Xiamen and was debating on whether or not saying yes to it. He was inclined to agree with it as he was feeling that they all needed at least a few days of downtime.
"Good. I am glad they are working things out considering I sincerely think the only friends she has are Chen Jinyang, Luo, us and YQCB, now that I think about it." muttered Yue with frown as he noted the flicker over his brother's face and knew the man agreed with him. Their girl did not have that many friends it seemed but it also seemed that was her decision as well.
"Speaking of your girl. We need to talk. Come to my office." commanded Sicheng as he stood silently from his gaming chair and pierced his younger brother with a look that said he was to be obeyed or else, as he froze briefly before nodding his head in understanding.
"I will tell you everything I know and Luo said, she has no issue with you questioning her as well on everything. And that if you want to have someone you trust look into things further, she has no problem with stepping back and allowing you to go through everything." nodded Yue as his brother cast him an appraising look before he nodded his head back to him.
