Darker/Overprotective: Sicheng
Notes:
Author's Note: This one is a bit on the short side, but the Muse wanted it that way because they felt it flowed better that way! Muse took off their wings and halo while putting on their horns and bat wings. Muse would like to give the following warnings. They do not plan to be very nice to certain characters considering this is an AU verse, so a different verse than the drama...meaning people are going to be a little different.
This Chapter's Warning: Ai Jia and Yao are not as close as we have portrayed them in our stories or as it looks like in the drama, in this AU. This is what it would look like if the drama potentially showed his friendship he had with Jian Yang, because it was hinted that he was friends first with the Wilted Sunflower.
Disclaimer: The Muse would like to remind everyone we do not own FIYS nor the beloved characters nor any dialogue from either the show nor the book, even though they are constantly pouting at this reminder themselves.
(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)
Chapter Seven
"You want me to teach you how to do what?" Yao asked as she stared at Ai Jia as she crossed her arms over chest as she stood there in front of her base's front door.
"Tango...Jin-er said you know the dance and even danced it for a fundraiser." grinned Ai Jia with a wiggle of his eyebrows but stopped at her unimpressed look. "Please!" He pleaded with her as he went to take her hands but sighed as she moved her hands away from his. He was put off because that was something he had noticed lately, in fact ever since it seemed she had got together with Cheng...she rarely allowed anyone outside of her team and a few other people, to touch her.
"Ai Jia, I have not danced that dance in years and that was once to raise money for a new maternity ward at a rural hospital and to get them better equipment that my dance partner's husband actually owns. So it was a favor to him." She shook her head and made a reminder to scold her best friend for even telling this pest that she could even dance the Tango before a thought hit her. "Wait, did you speak Jinyang to see if she would be comfortable with you learning that dance from another woman?" she demanded and watched as he grinned wide.
"Yep. She said the only person she would feel comfortable with me learning it from or dancing it with would be you." nodded Ai Jia with a proud look on his face as she nodded her head but faltered as she raised her eyebrow as something flickered in her eyes.
"Did you ask Cheng-ge, on how he felt about me teaching you such an intimate dance? Because in reality, I don't feel comfortable teaching you that dance, especially if he does not know and becomes against me doing so." frowned Yao as the male frowned at her back with a small shake of his head.
"I didn't think I had to ask him." muttered Ai Jia with some frustration as he saw where this was heading to. He was worried that she was starting to let the man control her or more likely have control over her, preventing her from doing anything that he did not approve.
"Then the answer is definitely a no. I am no longer single now Ai Jia. I am with Cheng-ge and I don't think he would be okay with the fact you are wanting me to teach you the tango especially as I am not comfortable with it myself in teaching you such an intimate dance." refused Yao as she glared some at the Mid from next door. She refused to say yes because of two reasons 1: She was not comfortable with it, not really especially dancing in front of or with anyone else that was not Sicheng. And 2: Ai Jia did not ask Sicheng first and foremost as well. She had too much respect and love for that man plus she liked to think she knew him very well now, to know that there was no way in hell he would be comfortable with her dancing that dance with a male that was not him.
