Chapter Four
"Before we head to the arena. I want to make something very clear. Yao does not go anywhere alone nor is she to be let out of our sights. Xu Tailum is up to something and I don't want to give him a chance to target her in person at the arena." spoke Sicheng in a low warning tone as he stared at the males on his team. He had already had a separate talk with Yao, warning her to take someone with her to the bathroom at least to wait outside for her.
"This is from when he had followed you both once he saw you both at the animal market isn't it? You really think he would be stupid enough to try something at the arena of all places?" frowned Ming as he was edge and was concerned for the petite female upstairs. He would not hesitate in handing Xu Tailum his own ass if he touched the girl that he was quickly coming to see as a little sister.
"And we don't know why he would? Because as far as I can tell, the Salt Maiden has not done anything to the prick." muttered Yue with a scowl as he glanced at his elder brother as the man nodded in agreement with his words.
"Exactly. I mean it, she goes nowhere alone." repeated Sicheng in a cold voice as he leveled a look at them all as he would kick someone's asses if his orders were not followed.

Yao paused in her footing as she walked out of the bathroom as she was listening to her best friend on the phone complain about how Xu Tailum was for some reason or another being a bastard in the game. She had no idea what the hell crawled up that man's ass as she had not done anything that she knew of to him and knew Cheng-ge would have informed her if she had done anything. But apparently they had not known anything either on why she was being targeted. Feeling a sense of unease, she decided to pull the plug and use her code that she and Jin-er had thought of for her to use if she was in potential danger.
"En, Shopping spree this weekend, or maybe right after the game today." commented Yao as her phone went dead silent as her bestie breath inhaled sharply.
"You're potentially in danger aren't you? Stay safe and calm Mei Mie! I am calling Cheng-ge to get to you!!" rushed out Jinyang with fear coiling in her stomach as her bestie hummed in agreement with her words confirming to her that she could be before she hung up the phone.
"Can I help you?" asked Yao in soft calm even though she was not on the inside as she stared at the cold looking male as he was eying her.
"I was wondering about something." commented Xu Tailum as he eyed the female and not for the first time, had desirable thoughts about her, considering she was indeed the ultimate package deal. "I want you to go out with me." he demanded of her as her eyes widened in shock at his words.
"No thank you. You already have a girlfriend." denied Yao as she shifted and went to walk around him. She flinched as he slammed his hand down on the wall in front of her face and ended up grunting in slight pain. She had tried to move around the other way, but the bastard grabbed both of her wrists slamming them into the wall on the hard side as he pinned her to the wall behind her.
