Ed pulled up outside of the house, turning off the engine with a sigh before he looked over at his wife.
"Are you sure that you want to do this?"
"I'm sure, Ed. They need us"
"That's not what I asked. Neither of us are as young as we once were and I'm worried about the toll you're visions are having on you"
"I can handle it" She said again "Did you bring your pills?"
"I did, they're in my pocket" He nodded, excepting her change of subject. Ed climbed out of the car first, rushing around to get the door for Lorraine. They both headed up into the house where detective Marsh and Claudia were waiting. Ed felt Lorraine tense at his side, he took her hand in his, feeling her shaking.
"Hon, what is it?"
"It's latched onto her"
"I didn't kill my husband" Claudia told them.
"We know" Lorraine assured her "The demon killed your husband"
"Why? What does it want?" Lorraine felt it reaching inside of her brain calling out to her.
"I don't want them. I want you" Lorraine clamped her hands over her ears silencing her brain.
"Hon, what is it?"
"The demon doesn't want them, it wants me"
"Lorraine-"
"God brought us to together to stop these demons, we can't let it hurt anyone else-"
"I won't let it hurt you"
"If we know who it is and what it wants, it won't" She assured him.
"It wants you, that's enough for me to go running in the other direction"
"We don't run" Ed sighed angrily.
"Do you know who owned the house before you?" Ed asked Claudia, not dropping Lorraine's hand.
"I don't" She frowned.
"We'll have to get Jerry to look into that-"
"You call him, I'm going to check the attic" Lorrain told him, dropping his hand as she moved to the stairs.
"Lorraine? Hon?" He called after her but she ignored him and continued her journey upstairs.
"I think she's made up her mind" Detective Marsh chuckled.
"Believe me when my wife puts her mind to something nothing changes it" Ed grumbled slightly before he picked up the phone and dialled Jerry's number.

Lorraine headed up the second staircase into the attic, it mirrored her vision, right down to the crib, except now it wasn't rocking it was empty. The door to the attic slammed shut and Lorraine didn't need to run to it to know that she wouldn't be able to escape.
"Lorraine!" She heard Ed shout from downstairs.
"Show yourself to me" Lorraine ordered and a figure appeared a second later. It was dark, fuzzy almost, like a dark cloud.
"Warren" A scratchy but booming voice spoke from the shadow.
"What do you want from me?"
"You will stop sending us back to hell"
"I will never stop"
"Lorraine!" Ed banged on the door.
"Then we will keep taking and taking until you have nothing left"
"You underestimate me demon" It laughed, making Lorraine flinch at the unnatural sound.
"I know you better than you know" As Ed burst through the door the demon shadow was gone and Ed was at her side, taking her face in his hands.
"Lorraine, what happened? Are you alright?"
"It wants to take everything from me. The demons want me to stop returning them to hell"
"This is too dangerous"
"They won't stop coming for us if we walk away Ed" He sighed angrily. His way of taking out his anger without getting angry at her.
"We are leaving this house until we know enough to come back here" Lorraine nodded, surprisingly agreeing with him.
"This demon knows everything about us, we need to know everything about it"

Jerry had compiled everything he could possibly find about everyone that had lived and died in the house.
"Any of these standing out hon?" Lorraine shook her head, Ed could tell that she was getting frustrated and tired "Why don't you go and take a nap?" That clearly pissed her off based on the glare that she gave him.
"I'm fine, Ed" She snapped harsher than she intended. She threw down the paperwork and left the room with a heavy sigh, heading towards the bathroom.
"Is everything okay Mr Warren?"
"Honestly? I don't know, the last time she was like this she locked herself away for eight days and refused to talk" Ed sighed "I don't know kid, but it scares the hell out of me" He admitted before he rose from his seat and went in search of his wife. He found her standing at the bathroom vanity, her head hung low.
"I'm sorry" She shook her head at herself. He closed the space between them, his hands going to her shoulders.
"There's nothing to forgive" She appreciated his little lie "Please tell me how I can help you" She sighed.
"I don't know" She leaned back into his touch "I should try that nap maybe it'll help" He placed his chin on her shoulder, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Do you want me to hold you?" She shook her head but he could feel her body going slack in his arms, tiredness taking over.
"No, you should go back to Jerry and the detective"
"Hon, I don't think they'll mind if I help my wife get some sleep"
"I'll be fine-"
"If I hear you say that one more time I might scream" She smiled at him in the mirror.
"I meant that I can sleep by myself"
"Okay" Lorraine turned in his arms and placed a small kiss to his lips "Go" She ordered gently, pushing him away just as gently. Ed smiled, kissing her again before he headed back into the living room, Lorraine headed up to their bedroom and climbed into bed on Ed's side hoping that the smell of him would lull her to sleep, which it did surprisingly quickly.
