Minho knew this day was coming. Jisung had barely slept after the exam, his mind still tangled with anxiety about how well—or terribly—he thought he did. Though Minho reassured him countless times, Jisung wasn't convinced. Even now, he lay face-first on the couch, exhausted and sulky.

Then came the doorbell, just as Minho predicted.

"I'll get it," Minho muttered, sliding off the couch.

Jisung waved lazily, his face buried in the cushions.

Minho opened the door to see three familiar faces—Felix standing front and center with a massive balloon in hand, and right behind him were Seungmin and Jeongin, each carrying bags filled with something suspiciously edible. Felix's grin widened as soon as Minho appeared.

"Hi, hyung!" Felix chirped. "Can we come in?"

Minho raised an unimpressed eyebrow. "How many times am I supposed to say this? It's may we, not can we."

Felix groaned, tipping his head back dramatically. "It's the same thing!"

Jeongin burst out laughing, nudging Seungmin, who shook his head with a fond smirk.

"Man, we can't take you anywhere," Seungmin said, slinging an arm over Felix's shoulder.

Minho rolled his eyes but stepped aside to let them in. "You here to see Jisung?"

"Obviously," Jeongin said with a bright grin. "We couldn't miss out on seeing our lawyer boy right after the big exam."

Minho gave a curt nod, heading further inside. "Jisung, you have visitors!"

The sound of familiar voices jolted Jisung out of his sulk. He shot up from the couch, blinking in disbelief.

"No way." He scrambled to his feet. "Felix? Seungmin? Jeongin!"

Before they could respond, Jisung dashed toward them, almost tripping over himself as he pulled Felix into a tight hug. Felix squealed in surprise but hugged him back just as fiercely, arms squeezing like Jisung was a stuffed animal.

"You guys are really here!" Jisung said, his voice breathless with excitement.

Felix giggled into his shoulder. "Of course we are! What, did you think we'd leave you to rot after the exam?"

Seungmin smirked. "We heard you were being dramatic, so we figured we'd come save you from yourself."

Jisung pulled back just enough to glare playfully at Seungmin. "I wasn't being dramatic! I was...ahem...processing."

"Right." Jeongin snickered, nudging him. "You looked very processed, hyung. Face-planted into the couch."

"Shut up," Jisung muttered, but he was grinning ear to ear.

He yanked Seungmin and Jeongin into the hug, making it a messy four-person pile of limbs and laughter. They stumbled backward, nearly knocking over the shoe rack by the door, but no one cared.

"Hyung, we're so proud of you," Jeongin said warmly, giving Jisung's shoulder a firm squeeze.

"I told you you'd make it," Seungmin added, his usual deadpan sarcasm softening for a brief moment. "You just don't listen to me."

Jisung just laughed. "I don't even know if I passed yet!" He pretended to sniffle dramatically. "I have the best friends in the world."

Felix wiped a fake tear from the corner of his eye. "This is so emotional. I'm crying."

Jisung laughed so hard he had to clutch his sides. His heart felt light for the first time in weeks, surrounded by the people he loved the most.

Meanwhile, Minho leaned against the kitchen doorway, watching the reunion with a small, amused smile. He didn't say anything, just observing how these three dorks could lift Jisung's spirits effortlessly. Minho didn't mind being a quiet presence in the background; seeing Jisung happy was more than enough.

Felix suddenly perked up. "Oh! I brought cake!" He held up a pink box like it was a treasure chest.

"Of course, you did," Minho muttered, shaking his head. "I'll grab some plates."

Jeongin smirked. "Minho hyung, you're sticking around for this party, right?"

Minho glanced at Jisung, whose eyes sparkled with a silent plea. As if Minho could ever say no to that face.

"Yeah, yeah," Minho sighed. "Let me just grab snacks, and we can celebrate...whatever the hell this is."

"It's a 'Jisung Survived' reunion," Felix declared proudly.

Seungmin arched an eyebrow. "Oh, so we're celebrating his bare survival? Damn, the bar is low."

"Oh, shut the fuck up, Seungmin!" Jisung whined, playfully swatting him.

Minho returned with plates, setting everything on the coffee table. Felix opened the cake box with a flourish, revealing a beautiful chocolate cake topped with strawberries.

Jisung's eyes widened. "Felix...you're a god."

Felix grinned smugly. "I know."

As they all gathered around the coffee table, diving into cake and snacks, Jisung felt a warmth settle deep in his chest. It wasn't just the sugar or the company—it was knowing that these were his people. No matter what happened with his results, no matter how stressful life got, they would be here.

And Minho, sitting quietly beside him, was the steady presence grounding him through it all. Minho caught his gaze for a second, his expression unreadable, but there was a flicker of something in his eyes—something like pride.

Jisung smiled. For the first time in a long while, he felt like things were going to be okay.
