Jisung adjusted his brown crewneck, smoothing the fabric against his chest and dusting his black pants as he took one last look in the mirror. His reflection smiled back at him, and he couldn't help but admire how far he'd come. It had been four months since he'd started his job as a lawyer, and he was thriving in the fast-paced environment. His hair had grown longer, darker, and curlier, framing his face in a way that made him feel undeniably pretty. He struck a few more playful poss, a flicker of confidence igniting within him before he walked out of his room.

As he stepped into the hallway, he was greeted by Soonie, his adorable golden retriever cat, who immediately wagged his tail with enthusiasm. Jisung knelt down to play with him, scratching behind Soonie's ears and showering him with affectionate kisses. Soonie licked his face in response, and Jisung couldn't help but laugh, the sound echoing joyfully in the quiet apartment.

"Okay, okay. I've got to get going!" Jisung said, giving Soonie one last scratch before standing up. He straightened his pants and made his way toward the living room, where he heard a faint voice carrying through the door.

Minho.

Jisung paused in the doorway, leaning against the frame as he watched Minho in action. His boyfriend was in the middle of a meeting, surrounded by charts and graphs on his laptop screen, clearly discussing details with interested investors for his innovative wind turbine project. It had been a year since they had gotten together and celebrated Minho's graduation, while Jisung had completed his studies eight months ago. Now, here they were—two young professionals carving their paths in the world.

Jisung couldn't help but feel a swell of pride as he watched Minho articulate his ideas with confidence, his brow slightly furrowed in concentration. The way he spoke with passion, his hands gesturing animatedly, made Jisung's heart race. Minho had always been determined, but watching him navigate the complexities of business with such grace was awe-inspiring.

As the meeting came to a close, Minho leaned back in his chair, shutting his laptop down with a sigh of relief. He ran a hand through his slightly tousled hair, a gesture Jisung found utterly adorable. The moment their eyes met, a smile broke out on Minho's face, instantly illuminating the room.

"Come here, Sung." Minho called out, calmly, brightening up even more as he noticed Jisung standing in the doorway. Jisung only walked up to him and sat right between Minho's legs. The older immediately wrapped his arms around Jisung's waist. "You look amazing." Minho complimented.

"Says you." Jisung huffed, to which Minho just rolled his eyes. He always believed Minho was a lot prettier than him. But Minho said otherwise. "How did the meeting go?"

"Pretty well, I think." Minho stretched, a content smile still on his lips. "I'm feeling optimistic about the project."

"Of course you are," Jisung teased, leaning in for a quick peck. "You always know how to impress them."

Minho chuckled, burying his face in Jisung's neck. "What about you?" He mumbled. "What are you gonna do?"

"Just the usual, but I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of things," Jisung said, a hint of pride in his voice. "I've been working on a case that I think I can win."

"That's my boyfriend!" Minho cheered, kissing Jisung's forehead. "I'm so proud of you. You make a great lawyer."

"Mm." Jisung replied, slouching more into Minho.

Jisung then started fiddling with Minho's watch and playing with his sleeves. It was a white button up, with 2 buttons undone, revealing a bit of his chest. His sleeves were tucked in, revealing his forearm. Minho only wore it during work. And he had a meeting today. But when he was dressed inside the house, it meant he was probably going to work later.
