Taehyung is restocking the shelves at the convenience store, concentrating on the task at hand. He doesn't notice Mingyu slipping through the door quietly, trying not to trigger the doorbell. Mingyu moves slowly, observing Taehyung in silence. The bandana tied around Taehyung's neck makes him look effortlessly sexy, but his eyes narrow as he notices the faint purple hickeys peeking out from underneath. The sight sends a fresh wave of jealousy through him. He clears his throat, "Taehyung..."
Taehyung jumps, almost dropping a can. He turns around, glaring at Mingyu, "what the hell are you doing here?"
Mingyu crosses his arms, his posture tense. "I came to talk to you and this time you will hear me out. Oh, are you trying to cover up those hickeys with this bandana, really? It's not doing much."
Taehyung's hand instinctively goes to his bandana, adjusting it, "that's none of your business. You should leave."
"You think you can just whore around with my friend and it's none of my business? Stay away from him."
"What are you talking about? And who the hell are you to tell me what to do?"
"Don't play dumb with me. I saw the marks on his neck. And now, seeing those on yours... I'm not stupid. I won't let you mess with Jungkook like you did with me."
Taehyung's eyes widened at the mention of Jungkook's name. "Get out. Now."
Mingyu steps forward, "and I want you to stay away from my school. Don't ever show your face there again."
Taehyung tilts his head, confused. "Your school? You're what, twenty? Shouldn't you be in college or something?"
Mingyu smirks, "oh, that fake ID works wonders, doesn't it? I'm seventeen, hyung."
Taehyung stares at him, disbelief written all over his face. "You've got to be kidding me."
"It doesn't matter how old I am. You stay away from Jungkook and our gym, and you'll be okay."
Taehyung's patience wears thin, "alright, enough. Get out of here. You don't control me or who I'm friends with."
"And you better not tell anyone about that night, that we... If you do, you'll regret it. I'll make sure you get the beating of your life."
Taehyung gives him a mocking smile, "is that another threat? Sounds like you're really scared of people finding out your little secret...that you love to feel a cock pressed against—"
Mingyu suddenly grabs Taehyung by the collar, pushing him against the shelves. The cans and boxes rattle with the impact falling on the floor. "There we go. Are you going to punch me again? It's getting boring."
Mingyu's jaw clenches, but instead of throwing a punch, he leans closer, his breath ghosting over Taehyung's skin. His eyes flicker down to Taehyung's lips and he remembers how good they tasted that night. It was something he hadn't been able to forget.
Taehyung notices the way Mingyu's gaze lingers, and his voice hardens. "Let go of me. Don't even think about it."
Mingyu's eyes linger for a moment longer before he looks back up into Taehyung's eyes, "I wish things had gone differently between us. If you'd just listened—"
Taehyung interrupts him by shoving him hard in the chest, forcing a distance between them. "You had your chance, Mingyu. Move on."
For a split second, hurt flashes across Mingyu's face, but it's quickly replaced by a cold, hardened look, "I can make things very difficult for you. But I don't want to hurt you, Taehyung. Stay away from Jungkook, don't go back to the gym and keep your mouth shut. Got it?"
