Taehyung put on a beanie, checked himself in the mirror one last time, and grabbed his packed bag from under the bed. He opened his bedroom door and peeked down the hallway. The house was still quiet; it was the early hours of the morning.

He held the bag tightly in his arms and walked lightly down the hall, but as he passed his sister's room, he heard her door open.

"Shh," he signaled with a finger to his lips, and she understood, motioning for him to continue down the hall and descend the stairs. She followed him silently.

Once downstairs, Taehyung carefully placed the bag on the floor and turned to face his sister. Since their last argument, the two hadn't been talking much, only the essentials. Both too stubborn and proud. But fuck it, it's his twin, his living doll. He opened his arms, and Taehee didn't need any further invitation; she threw herself into his arms for a tight hug.

"I don't like seeing you leave with a luggage in hand. It brings back bad memories." She buried her face in his chest, and he let out a laugh. "Unfortunately, I'll be back here. But next time, it'll be for good."

Taehee pulled back and looked up into her brother's eyes. "Are you okay? Confident in how your body's holding up? Are you fully recovered?"

"I'm flying! Seriously, I'm running normally now. I'm not that easy to break. Busan is mine."

She hugged him again. "Good. I'll need a place to stay when I want to hit the beach. I'll be rooting for you, big bro."

"Oppa."

"Never. You're only a few seconds older. Give it up."

He ruffled her hair in a playful mess. "Those seconds still count. Now, let me go—the taxi should be here by now." He grabbed his bag and headed toward the door, Taehee trailing after him.

As he stepped outside, Jungkook was already sitting on the steps in front of his house, dozing off with his chin resting on his hand. He's cute. Taehee looked at the guy across the street and then at her brother. "Is he going with you?"

Taehyung hated that he couldn't suppress the smile spreading across his face. Taehee would grow even more suspicious. "Yes, he's my coach, after all." He kissed the top of her head and crossed the street before she could barrage him with more questions.

Taehee leaned against the door, watching as Taehyung approached Jungkook and messed with his hair to wake him up. Jungkook yawned and stood, giving Taehyung a light slap on the butt. Suspicious, but not unusual for them, she thought. When Jungkook noticed her standing at the door, he straightened up and waved. Taehee waved back.

Moments later, a taxi pulled up on the street, and the two guys loaded their luggage into the trunk before climbing into the car. They waved at her one last time through the window. She smiled at the sight. They fit well together.

Once on the bus, Taehyung boarded first and took the window seat. Jungkook followed closely behind, sitting in the aisle seat next to him. Luckily, the bus was nearly empty, with only three other passengers to keep them company.

The seats weren't the most comfortable, and Taehyung groaned in anticipation, knowing his long legs would suffer in the cramped space between rows. But it was fine—just four hours to Busan.

Jungkook placed their backpacks on the empty seats across the aisle, and the two settled into their spots. Taehyung took off his beanie, running his fingers through his hair, and Jungkook immediately noticed the vibrant blue strands. The color was vivid, nothing like the faded bluish-silver from the night before.
