Akshvi had shut the door in Nandini's face. Nandini just kept looking at her face. Was this girl really going to slip away from her grasp? So easily? She couldn't digest this thought. Amrit Ji said, "Now come on. You saw, didn't you? My daughter has the courage to do what she thinks."

Nandini glared at Akshvi's door in anger and left. Amrit Ji went to his room. Akshvi entered her room, and tears began to flow from her eyes like a waterfall. Until now, she had held herself together to appear strong, but what happened outside was too much for her. She threw her bag on the bed, took her mother's photo, and sat down. Crying, she complained to her mother, "You are watching, aren't you, Maa? See the kinds of accusations people are making against us. I didn't do anything wrong, yet I have to hear so much! That's why I have decided, I... I will not return to this house. I'm leaving here. Yes, Maa! I'm leaving. I am going to Mumbai. Even if I don't get a job, I will still fulfill my dreams there. I will find another job, but I won't come back to this house."

Meanwhile, in Mumbai, the party was still going on. Raj Ji saw Vedang and Taranya talking to each other and smiled. He liked Taranya. Vedang asked Taranya, "So... Miss Taranya! What are you currently doing?"

Taranya smiled and replied, "MBA... Currently doing an MBA."

Vedang heard this and said, "But your dad is in politics, right? Then doing an MBA... I don't get it."

"Why? Can't a politician's daughter do business?" Taranya asked.

Vedang, with a slight smirk, said, "No, I never said that."

Laughing, Taranya replied, "Just kidding. I don't have much interest in politics like my dad. That's why I'm doing an MBA, so he doesn't push me into politics."

"Hmm," Vedang nodded in agreement.

Taranya asked, "So... Mr. Sehgal! Any girlfriend?"

"Umm... What do you mean?" Vedang asked, feeling a little uncomfortable.

Taranya explained, "You've been in the USA. It can't be that you don't have a girlfriend."

Vedang replied, "No, I am single."

"What? I don't believe it. That's a lie," Taranya said.

Vedang took a sip from his glass and said, "It's not like I've never liked any girl, but... I've never found that spark in anyone with whom I could think of spending my entire life."

Taranya, with a double meaning, while tucking her hair behind her shoulder, said, "Maybe... you'll find that spark in someone now that you're back in India."

Vedang understood her words well, but still pretended to be unaware and said, "You're right. Maybe there's a girl somewhere in India waiting for me, someone with whom I can imagine spending my life without any hesitation."
