As soon as Arnav saw Vedang approaching his cabin, he quickly showed Akshvi the earring in his hand and asked, "Shall I put it on?"

"Umm... sorry?" Akshvi was a bit taken aback by such a question.

Arnav said, "Yeah, there's no mirror here. I can help you, but only if you don't mind. If you're uncomfortable, then..."

"Umm... no, it's nothing like that," Akshvi replied, lowering her gaze.

When Arnav asked if he could put the earrings on for her, Akshvi's heart skipped a beat. Her heart was racing, and she felt butterflies fluttering in her stomach. Arnav was close to her. Just as he touched her hair, the cabin door opened, and Vedang entered.

Upon seeing Arnav and Akshvi so close, Vedang's eyes widened in shock, and a wave of anger surged within him. What was Arnav doing?

Startled by the door opening, Akshvi quickly stepped away from Arnav, realizing what was happening. She was in the office, and Arnav was her boss. How could she let this happen? Her face clearly showed fear and anxiety, and seeing Vedang only heightened her worry. What would he think of all this? Would she be fired the next day?

Vedang asked sternly, "What's going on here?"

"Well... we... uh..." Akshvi was too flustered to form a coherent response.

Arnav, noticing her stumbling over words, laughed and said, "Nothing, big bro! Akshvi dropped her earring here, and since there's no mirror, I was just helping her put it on."

Hearing this, Vedang was reminded of the incident that had just occurred in his cabin earlier. He replied in a firm tone, "Miss Sinha could have gone to the restroom."

"Yes, of course... I'll go to the restroom now. Thank you for trying to help, Arnav Sir," Akshvi said.

Arnav smiled and replied, "Oh, it's okay. You can go. And don't forget to send that file to the R&D department. Okay?"

"Okay, sir!" Akshvi said as she left.

Vedang watched her leave, thinking to himself that Akshvi had thanked Arnav, but it was Vedang who had actually helped her. Shouldn't she have thanked him instead? A moment ago, she was scared of him, but now it seemed like she was blushing. For some reason, Vedang didn't like seeing her blush. Once the cabin door closed, Arnav, who had been observing Vedang's expressions for a while, asked with a teasing smile, "What's the matter, Big bro? Are you jealous that Akshvi and I were close?"

"What nonsense are you talking about?" Vedang said, sitting down.

Arnav continued teasing, "Really? Because your expressions say otherwise."

"You're wrong. But yes, I didn't like you getting so close to her," Vedang said.

Arnav immediately sat down in his chair and asked, "Why? Why didn't you like it? Do you... like her?"

"No, because I hate that girl. She's extremely irritating. Plus, she's not your type. So it's better if you stay away from her," Vedang said, rolling his eyes.
