One year later, the Akagami pirates were resting on a summer island when a certain man interrupted them. Many were scared to see him, but he didn't come with bad intentions, he was simply looking for their superiors.

"Chief!" One of the crew members came running and scared.

Kanae was with all the superiors of the Akagami pirates, including Shanks, they were spending time resting, she had even started smoking. Then Mihawk appeared.

"Hello, Taka no me, I'm not feeling very well right now, are you here for a duel?" Shanks threatened him.

"Hm... I have no interest in challenging a one-armed man like you," Mihawk answered.

"What did you say?" Kanae got angry and got up from her place, putting out her cigarette.

"Although I met some very interesting pirates," he took out a paper and approached Shanks, "and it reminded me of something you told me a long time ago, a story about a small village," he gave him the paper, "and a funny boy."

The paper was a 'wanted' poster of Monkey D. Luffy for 30 million berries.

"What?! Really?!" All were surprised.

"So you came, Luffy!" Shanks smiled.

"My little... "Kanae took the paper. "Luffy." She hugged the paper.

"Alright, Taka no me," Shanks called him with a serious look. "I can't let you go like this," he smiled.

A party was organized between the Akagami Pirates and Mihawk, they celebrated his visit and especially Luffy's first bounty, including Kanae who doesn't like parties too much, she was as happy as the day Ace became a pirate.

"Akagami," Mihawk called him seriously when the atmosphere calmed down a bit, "I didn't just come for this."

"What's wrong?" His gaze changed.

Everyone felt that someone else's presence appeared before them, Shanks felt threatened and quickly stood up.

"Wait," Mihawk tried to stop him.

"Honey, wait," Kanae told him too. "I know him, they're not looking for a fight."

"This is not the way, dear," he answered angrily.

"We need to take Kanae," Mihawk said when Kuma appeared at his side, making the situation worse.

"Are you crazy?! I won't give you any of her!" he replied angrily. "I offer you my kindness and this is how you repay me."

"It is important that she accompany us."

"It won't be long, with my ability, I will bring her back soon," Kuma added.

"What do you want from her?" Shanks asked.

"That's none of your business, Yonko," Mihawk answered.

Shanks stared at him with a menacing face, he was going to start a fight, but Kanae got in the way.

"What do you want from me?" She asked both Shichibukai directly.

"If we tell you now you won't want to come," Kuma replied.

"Less I'll go with you if you don't tell me anything, how can I trust two Shichibukai? I want Shanks to come with me."
