COMMENT AND VOTE! IT HELPS US WRITERS STAY MOTIVATED:)

the reason i always say "please don't be a ghost reader" this isnt just because i want votes, i mean i do, but ive been writing on this app for 3 almost 4 years and it helps me stay motivated because that means people are reading my stuff. and unlike other people, they have so many views on their books and i know my writing isnt the best but i love to write and it just helps me stay motivated. and i know i unpublish and republish my chapters and i get thats really annoying

sunny stood up from the chair as eli pushed himself up from the tattoo table, slowly rising after laying on his stomach. he had just finished getting a tattoo fixed-something he wanted to adjust since he dyed his hair from blue to red. sunny watched him closely, her eyes catching on the new tattoo on his chest. it was a sun, with the name "summer" engraved around it, and her heart practically melted at the sight. though her real name was summer, she'd always gone by sunny, to keep the connection to her twin sister, moon, alive. seeing that tattoo made her feel something deep, something soft.

eli turned to thank the tattoo artist. "thanks, rico," he said with a nod, his voice casual but full of gratitude. then he shifted his attention to sunny, his eyes locking onto hers.

sunny stepped forward, her heart racing as she smiled up at him. "did you get that for me?" she asked, her voice small, barely above a whisper.

eli smirked, a playful but affectionate look on his face. "of course, sunshine," he replied, like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

sunny's face flushed pink, the warmth spreading across her cheeks as eli wrapped an arm around her shoulders. the two of them left the tattoo parlor together, walking side by side, his arm never leaving her. she leaned into him slightly, feeling the familiar comfort of his presence. her heart fluttered, still processing the fact that he had gotten something so meaningful inked on his body just for her.

as they made their way outside, sunny's phone buzzed in her pocket. she pulled it out, her eyes scanning the screen. it was a message from martiza: "hey, going to the mall with demetri, l8tr. wanna come?"

sunny grinned and quickly typed back: "ofc!!!"

eli, walking beside her, glanced over her shoulder at the phone screen. his expression changed instantly, his playful smirk fading into something more serious. he scoffed under his breath, clearly annoyed.

"seriously? demetri?" he muttered, shaking his head slightly.

sunny stopped in her tracks, turning to face him with a raised eyebrow. "i don't know what your problem is with demetri lately, but he's still mart and i's friend," she said, her voice firm but gentle. she wasn't about to let him get away with the snarky comment without calling him out.
