PLEASE DONT BE A GHOST READER!
COMMENT AND VOTE! IT HELPS US WRITERS STAY MOTIVATED:)

the reason i always say "please don't be a ghost reader" this isnt just because i want votes, i mean i do, but ive been writing on this app for 3 almost 4 years and it helps me stay motivated because that means people are reading my stuff. and unlike other people, they have so many views on their books and i know my writing isnt the best but i love to write and it just helps me stay motivated. and i know i unpublish and republish my chapters and i get thats really annoying

The party was already humming with the low buzz of voices, laughter, and music flowing through Moon's house. After their parents left for the weekend, Moon had wasted no time in setting up the biggest end-of-summer bash yet, and Sunny had been roped in to help. She was currently in the kitchen, putting the last touches on a platter of snacks when she heard Moon's voice shout from the living room.

"Sunny! Can you get the door? It might be Jade or Maritza!"

Sunny sighed, abandoning her half-arranged snacks, and made her way toward the front door, expecting to see one of her sister's friends. But as she opened the door, her heart gave a jolt. Standing there, with that familiar cocky smirk, was Hawk-and he wasn't alone. A small entourage of Cobra Kai members flanked him, looking just as smug and confident.

"Hey, Sunny," Hawk greeted, his tone friendly yet edged with something else, like he was testing the waters.

Sunny blinked, forcing herself to stay calm, then cleared her throat. "Hi, Hawk." She took a step back, her fingers tightening around the edge of the door as she let them in. Hawk's smile faltered slightly as he caught her using his nickname, but he quickly shook it off. Before she could take another breath, he moved closer, his eyes locked on hers, and gently took hold of her arm.

"Hey, can we talk for a sec?" he asked, his voice low. There was an urgency in his gaze, and Sunny found herself nodding before she even knew what she was agreeing to. He led her through the hallway until they reached her room, pushing open the door and stepping inside before she could stop him. She took one last glance at the party behind her, then slipped in and closed the door.

Her room was softly lit, bathed in the glow of teal light from her LED strips-a comforting contrast to the chaos outside. Hawk let out a heavy sigh, rubbing the back of his neck, looking almost... vulnerable.

"Sunny, I... I just wanted to apologize. Again. I know I keep saying it, but I'm sorry for everything. For All-Star Karate, for Miyagi-Do-I just feel like I really screwed up." He looked down, shifting on his feet, his usual confidence stripped away.

Sunny crossed her arms, raising an eyebrow at him. "You've already apologized, like, a million times, Hawk. Seriously, I get it." She couldn't keep the slight edge of annoyance from her tone; it wasn't that she didn't appreciate the apology, but hearing it over and over again was beginning to wear on her patience.
