Aiah's POV

"Bes thank you, pano na lang kung wala ka?" I sighed as Baste and I finally settled in after a tough day at the café.

One of the construction workers had to be rushed to the hospital due to a minor accident, but thankfully he's okay.

Meanwhile, one of our staff members got into a literal fight with a customer.

And the best part of the day is— we have received multiple complaints na sumakit yung tiyan nila after consuming one of our products and I discovered na this complaint stemmed from the negligence of one of the staff members.

So subok na subok po ang patience natin for today's video. Buti na lang at may training tayo how to handle these things profesionally.

Nagkataon pa na most of the team were unavailable— Jho, Ken and Staku had some family matters to attend to and nahiya naman ako sa ibang girls kaya Baste was really the only one I could turn to for help.

I really missed Mikha a little extra today 'cause she has always been my go-to person in times like this. Being in the corporate world, she really has her own ways of navigating such situations and sobra kong daming natutunan from her.

"Always here for you Aiah, alam mo yan," Baste uttered.

"Namiss ko 'to ha." I said as we started munching on our ice creams. As always, dito talaga niya ako lagi dinadala when he feels I'm not okay. I'll never forget when Miks asked sino ba raw si 'ice cream guy' and she really thought na may something sa'min ni Baste.

"Sus, palibhasa kasi single ka," he replied with a playful pout on his face.

"Wow Sebastian ha? Una sa lahat 'wag mo ipamuka na single ako ha? Pangalawa, ikaw ang busy lagi," then he bursted out laughing.

"Ang happy. Ikaw na talaga ang masaya." I joked.

"Well, yeah, I deserve it," he proudly answered.

"Wow you sound a lot like Jho na."

"Birds of a feather, we should stick together," iba talaga pag in-love may pa kanta pa.

"Pero beshie, I want to tell you something."

"Hmmm?" he asked, almost finished with his food.

"Don't judge ha?" Baste looked at me na parang may nagawa na naman akong masama.

"Ano na naman ginawa mo, Aiah??" his eyes narrowed.

"Ganito kasi 'yun," I paused, gathering my thoughts. "Well, I guess I got swayed for a moment; I expected it was Miks..."

"Ano??" he asked, looking confused.

"Eh, paano ba?" I replied, trying to organize my thoughts.

"Kaya mo yan 'te."

"Okay, there's this person— I wasn't sure, but I assumed it was Miks. She sent me gifts, she sent food nung andoon yung girls sa condo, and nakausap ko siya thru texts."

"Uy creepy ah? How did she know na the girls were there?"

"Yeah exactly, pero I trusted the girls kasi sabi nila 'wag daw ako mag worry and enjoy ko na lang."

"Your friends are crazy," he remarked.

"Your fiancée is crazy," I shot back.

"Aiah, alam mo ba yung rule na don't talk to strangers? 'Di ka na talaga natuto ha?" para na naman akong anak na pinapagalitan ng tatay.
