Ok so is it just my school or do you guys get summer reading too? My school assigns each grade a book to read over the summer and do a project on, it has to be do by the 2nd day of school and if it's not you fail English for a semester.

Michael: "Daddy! Daddy!" My son Blake said running to me with tears in his eyes."Oh god are you okay" I asked him kneeling down to his height "No, but mommy and Violet can't play prince and princess with me because they are with Grandma!" He said crying. My son Blake had dirty blonde hair and green eyes, even at his age (5) I could see that he was gonna look exactly like me, Violet looked like her mother, y/n, more. Violet was turning 15 soon and she surprisingly loved to play with Blake, she was usually quiet but when she was comfortable she would be more out going, she dyes her hair a lot too but she takes care of it and tries her best not to damage it, it's it's a dark purple now. "Don't worry, I will play with you!" I said, right away you could see his sad expression turned into a happy/excited one. He grabbed my hand and ran with me to his room, he put his prince costume on and started looking through his toy box. "I found something that will fit!" He said excitedly, he pulled out a crown and a rainbow tutu that he had when he played with Violet. "Um I thought I would be a prince with you... Not a princess" I said to him. He just held it out to me so I took it and put it on hoping that we will be done playing by the time y/n and Violet will be back. At first I was super weirded out by it but I realized it was only only my son and he was having fun. I got up on his bed, acting like it was a castle while he pretended to slay a dragon to save me. I heard noises behind me so I turned around and saw exactly what I didn't want to see, y/n and Violet standing there. They both had their phones out recording me and Violet had her hand over y/n's mouth to try and stop her laughter but once out eyes met y/n fell to the floor laughing. Violet just stood there still trying to hold on her laugh, "Dad, maybe you should wear tutus more often."

Ashton: My seven year old son, Chris, just came back from school officially starting winter break. "Hey Daddy, can we do something fun!" He asks running over to me smiling "Yes of course! What do you wanna do" I asked, I'm really bored so maybe my little man could help me (My mom calls my nephew that omg) "can we play out in the snow, Pleeeaassee" he said with puppy dog eyes that looked so adorable. "I'm sorry Chris, but you know that mum has a cold, that wouldn't be fair if she couldn't join in on the fun" I said as I looked over to my beautiful wife y/n, she was wrapped in a blanket with a red nose and tissues surrounding her. "No, it's fine! Go have fun with Chris, I'm really comfortable here" she replied with a smile. "Alright, well you better go get ready! I bet I can get on my snow suit faster than you!" I said challenging Chris, "You wish!" He yelled running to his room. After 15 minutes of getting ready we ran out into the front yard, we were holding hands and did a belly flop into the snow laughing like maniacs. "Daddy look I'm making a snow angel!" He said moving his arms and legs while laying down in the snow. 'You are already my little angel' I said in my head. I joined him and made a few snow angels too, then when we were done we started making a snow man. While making the huge snowball for the middle of the snow man, Chris started singing frosty the snow man, a song he learned in school, and I sang along. In what felt like seconds we finished about six Christmas songs and a huge snow man. Chris and I decorated it with stones for the eyes and the smile, a carrot for the nose, a plaid scarf, one of my old fedoras, and two sticks for the arms and hands. One stick was facing down and the other stick was facing up and it looked like it was holding a peace sign. I told Chris to stay right there and that I would be back with my camera then I ran inside. When I came back I put him on the 'shoulders' of the snow man and took a picture. (I know if you did that in reality it would fall but let's just pretend k?) His messy, curly brown hair was half tucked under a beanie with some curls framing his cheeks and his smile was so big I couldn't help but smile too. "Daddy I'm cold" he said to me, his teeth were chattering. "Alright do you want some hot cocoa? We can drink some with mommy and tell her all about what we did today!" I told him taking him down from the snow man, he nodded and skipped to the door. He also tripped a little up the stairs, oh god he is gonna be clumsy.
