April 20th. The following two weeks were much of the same for Willa. Spend time with Katia, help take care of the kids, and see some of the other victors. There was nothing else she could do. Not until reaping day at least. But in the middle of the night, Katia rushed to the blonde's room when she heard a scream. Willa had woken because of a nightmare that left her crying.
"Lovey," Katia murmurs, sitting down next to the girl and bringing her head down to her chest. She moved her fingers through her hair in hopes of giving her any sort of comfort she may need.
"Kath!" she cried. 'Kath' slipped through Willa's lips really only when she was anxious. It was simpler to say compared to Katia.
"I'm here, I'm here," Katia soothed the girl, her shirt starting to get damp due to the amount of tears from Willa. Willa clung to the girl like her life depended on it. She needed the familiar presence.
"Make it go away!" Willa pleaded. Willa wanted all of her pain to go away. But her nightmares alone were a constant reminder that she would never be able to escape the games.
"I wish I could baby," Katia murmurs, not liking to see the girl in such pain. Willa's brain was loud and it was making it hard for her to think.
"Finnick," she sobbed.
"Finnick's not here, Will. But he's okay, I promise," Katia said as the bedroom door got pushed open a little.
"Mama? Auntie Wiwa?" Axel's little voice was heard. He held his blanket in his hand as he stood in the doorway.
"Hi, buddy. Did we wake you?" Katia softly said, pulling herself away from Willa and going to her son. She kneeled down in front of him and brushed some hair off of his forehead.
"Yes mama," Axel nodded, tiredly rubbing one of his eyes.
"Oh, I'm so sorry buddy!! Auntie Willa doesn't feel good right now," Katia said, Axel sleepily looking back at her.
"Mama, who Finn-ick?" he asked, shuffling into his mother's arms.
"Finnick is friends with Auntie Willa. He's not from here," Katia explained, picking her son up and bringing him to see Willa. He was longing to see her and give her a hug. But Willa was still sobbing. She was trying her best to suppress them but it wasn't really working.
"Auntie Wiwa," Axel said, reaching his arms out and accidentally dropping his blanket on her lap.
"Hi Axel," Willa hiccuped through her cries and took him in her arms.
"Auntie Wiwa okay?" the four-year-old asked, his little hands gripping Willa's shirt. Axel loved his auntie.
"Yeah, baby. Just a bad dream," she sniffled. He hit his little hand on her face to try and brush her tears away. Willa hiccuped again and took his hands in hers.
"Axel, baby, why don't I tuck you in again," Katia said, picking her son back up.
"Story, mama," Axel yawned, resting his head on her shoulder.
"Yeah, I'll tell you a story baby. I'll be right back," Katia quietly said, leaving the room with Axel. Willa understood that Katia wanted to help her feel better but Axel was just a little kid. He just wanted his mama to help him go back to sleep. So Willa couldn't really be mad.

Willa didn't sleep well for the rest of the night. She was restless, not able to stay still when she slept. That was to be expected though.
"Wiwa!!" Clover squealed, her hands grasping the air. Willa tiredly smiled and placed a kiss on the girl's head.
"Good morning, baby," Willa murmured. Clover's hands gripped Willa's shirt, wanting to be held. Willa hummed quietly, picking the girl up and placing her on her hip. She wanted to make sure the girl was loved and cared for by as many people as possible.
"Wiwa!" Clover said again all excited as her hands pressed against Willa's face. Willa brushed some hair out of the girl's eyes.
"What did Mama make for breakfast?" Willa softly asked, bouncing her a bit.
"Choc chip cake!" Clover threw her hands up.
"Chocolate chip pancakes?" Willa gasped, acting shocked. "That sounds so yummy!"
"Yum-my!" Clover repeated. Willa pressed a kiss to her temple, causing Clover to squeal in joy. She tried to reciprocate the kiss on Willa's cheek but it wasn't very successful.
"Clover!" Axel said, marching up to her and Willa as he looked at his little sister.
"Ah-el!!" Clover beamed.
"Pl-ay?" Axel asked, reaching his hands up to her.
"Yay!" the two-year-old giggled as Willa set her down on her feet. She watched Axel try to pick her up and carry her out to the living room to play but he wasn't very successful.
"Are you hungry?" Katia asked, coming up behind Willa. The blonde looked back at the girl and nodded.
"Very," she murmured.
"I already made you some food," Katia hummed, leaving her side to make her plate. Willa just watched her move around the kitchen and put some food on a plate for her. Willa couldn't be more grateful for Katia. She might not be the best at showing it, but she really was. She truly saw Katia as a sister.
