''Well, that in itself is a great achievement. I am sorry.'' Rhaenyra said remembering that they were all together again to mourn Laena's death. Remembering the last time she saw him and he touched her cheek claiming Laenor would bore her, so many years ago and then begged Davina to run away with him and broke her heart all over again. Davina had stayed because Rhaenyra begged her too. She didnt want to be alone. Davina had always been on her side which made Rhaenyra feel so much guilt for the thoughts going through her head, how she treated Davina, the names she called her. But she pushed them down, she was too far gone to make amends. She wanted Daemon now.

''Don't be. I am at least allowed to mourn my losses.'' Daemon reminded her and Rhaenyra brought a hand up to his face. ''Rhaenyra.'' Daemon warned.

"Davina has moved on, you should too." Rhaenyra told him. "She doesn't want you, I do."

"You are playing with fire." Daemon warned. Davina had made her mind up, she didn't want him. She declared it. Damn near let Criston kill him. But she didnt. She stopped him. Because maybe- Gods he had a son. A son! Davina was keeping a son from him.

''I'm no longer a child. I want you.... I dont think she would care, dont' you?''

"Oh shut the fuck up Rhaenyra, you know Davina would skin you alive." Daemon corrected, Rhaenyra didnt expect that. "Yeah davina would kill us." Daemon acknowledged and Rhaenyra took a step back feeling foolish. "She can and she will."

"So you are going to let fear keep us apart?"

"You are no Davina." Daemon corrected heading off.

"Hes right". Davinas voice came out of the darkness. "But you can have him." Rhaenyra turned to her quickly and stumbled on the sand. "See you so excited... You got him locked down." Davina moved closer. "You're moving like I did Before I found out. He ain't just a pretty-faced talker. You're seeing one-sided." Daemon moved to her.

"And I bet you're like, "He's so perfect" I have told you, "Oh, what version?" Davina sassed. "Nobody got you this nervous?" Davina chuckled. "Oh honey, I been there. And right in that same position. So, honey, don't get this twisted. " she looked to daemon "No, nothing could make me miss it. Take him, he's yours."

"You see? She doesnt want you!"

"You my blessing?" Davina cackled. "It's okay, I'm okay, had him in the first place. It's okay, I'm okay, I don't really gotta say It's okay,  you can have him anyways. Take him, hes yours."

Davina was feeling victorious until Criston ran to her pulling her inside not able to express what happened. Davina dropped next to her son, his eye gone. Luke stood beside him holding his hand. Davina couldnt breathe.

"What happened?" Her ears rang out among the shouting. Jace and Daemon's little monsters shouting, Luke was cry saying he was sorry over and over again to Aemond. Davina couldnt breathe. SHe could barely process what Aemond was saying to her.

"I tripped." Aemond whispered.

"I didnt mean to." Luke whimpered snot falling down his face. "I didnt mean to! I'm so sorry Aemond!" he begged.

"My eye..." Aemond groaned into Davina.

"My baby." Davina held him.

"What do you want to do?" Criston asked kneeling beside her rubbing her back.

"Murder". Davina answered vaguely

"Who?"

"Luke". Criston blinked back at her. Luke didn't mean to. Luke was a good boy, he apologized over and over again, he stood by Aemond saying it was an accident. Aemond had tripped, please believe him. Davina did believe him, believed that there was a fight in the pits but Aemond had tripped, he confirmed with Luke yet it didnt bring back his eye.  "Rhaenyra. " Davina corrected because hating her was easier.

''Alicent, this matter... is finished. Do you understand?'' Viserys hissed as he started to walk away ''And let it be known, anyone whose tongue dares to question the birth of Princess Rhaenyra's sons should have it removed.''

''Thank you, Father.'' Rhaenyra said hopefully.

"I want lucerys to be brought back to the capital. He will be a squire." Alicent decided. "Until he can atone."

"I get to keep my eye?" Luke questioned softly. Aemond nodded.

"I dont want your eye, LUke." Aemond assured. "Unless they can put it in my socket."

"I dont think they can do that." Luke corrected quickly.

"You understand punishment is needed." ALicent remarked. "Accident or not, you brought a blade and it hurt Aemond, your cousin."

"My son didnt do anything wrong." Rhaenyra objected.

"Enough. You insolent fool." Davina demanded. "This punishment is kinder than what he deserves."
