It should be known that after Harwin's funeral Davina was all funeraled out. She didnt want to go to driftmark and grieve someone she didnt know. Because Daemon would be there. A second wife dead, he was catching up to her.

But she was here because with a dead dragon rider came a free dragon for Aemond.

"Did you miss me Dav?" Davina felt her chest go tight as Daemon approached her.

"Go away Daemon." Davina whimpered, she couldnt handle him right now. Criston and ALicent turned back to her at Daemon's voice.

"Can't he just leave her alone?" Alicent questioned as they followed his voice.

"You want to go down the beaches, find a cozy spot-" Daemon when on.

"Go. Away." Davina begged.

"Dont be like that, we were interrupted earlier, when you ran away at the sight of me."

"So I wouldnt cause a scene like im going to if you get one step closer." Davina agreed.

" I want you. As it should have been." Daemon countered breezily.

"It never should have been." Davina corrected shoving him back. "You dont even care that your wife is gone..." she pounded a fist against her chest. "What is the matter with you? You were with her ten years and here you are flirting with me at her funeral."

"She wasnt my great love." Daemon corrected. "You are." Daemon kissed her and Davina didnt have the strength to fight him. He pulled back her face still in his hands and saw something he hadnt seen before in his sister. The light in her eyes was gone, she seemed a shell of herself now that he stood this close.

"Dav, let me piece you back together." Daemon begged.

"If only it were that simple." Davina rasped as she took a step back. "Because I've caught myself wishing that I could forget all the horrible things you've done... to me, to Viserys..." she pursed her lips tasting her never ending tears. "But I can't forget. Your name puts me in a state of horror, Daemon. Horror."

"Would you like me to escort the prince out?" Criston offered.

"Yes." Davina agreed through a tight lipped stare.

"I could make you happy." Daemon declared.

"I am happy." Davina corrected as ALicent grabbed her hand. "I have been happy and I don't want you here. I don't want you at the capital. I don't want you near my child." Davina begged. "You bewitched me long ago and I broke the spell." Davina admitted not catching her breath she kept going breathlessly but she had to spit it out. "I am so happy, I don't want you. I don't need you. You mess up my life enough Daemon."

"Lies." Daemon hissed taking a step closer. Criston blocked his path.

Daemon gasped for breath as Criston brought a hand to his throat. Davina stared a moment longer as Daemon's eyes met hers.

"Let him go." Davina rasped and Criston took a step back as Daemon choked for breath.

"You still love me." Daemon declared.

"I dont even want to know you anymore Daemon." Davina countered. "But I dont want Criston to be arrested for killing you are a funeral." Daemon reached out for her but Alicent blocked him.

''Back off, or I will shove this ring so far up your ass, you'll really have something to choke on." ALicent hissed.

"I moved on. So should you." Davina spat marching away.

"With who?" Daemon shouted. "Because when its real. You can't walk away." Daemon declared and Davina spun around and stared back at him feeling a wash of pain run over her.

"YOU!" Davina shouted. "YOU WALKED AWAY!" Davina reminded him. "You kept leaving."

"I kept coming back." Daemon corrected.

"I wish you wouldnt." Davina seethed. he had the nerve to smile.

"You are still a gorgeous bitch."

"And I see you're still an arrogant ass."

"Only around you." Daemon agreed. The corner of his mouth curled upward. Davina was always a force to be reckoned with. Sparring with her was his favorite thing. But it wasnt hers anymore. "You seem to bring out the worst in me." Her expression stayed measured.

"I have that effect on people." Davina agreed. They stared at each other for a few seconds without talking. That doesn't seem like a lot of time—unless you're facing your ex for the first time in ten stupid years and she doesn't seem happy to see you, as Daemon was not finally realizing. Then those few seconds become an eternity.

"I...uh...you... we got off on the wrong foot." he decided. "you look great. " Daemon cleared his throat, desperately trying to pull it together. She looked great, and by great, he meant she looked incredible in her all black outfit. She was always a knockout, but time had changed her. She's the same but somehow better. There's a maturity about her that's beautiful and confident, like she's taken what she's learned the last ten years and adopted it into her countenance, making her more of a woman—a gorgeous woman. And if I'm being honest, her fitted black dress definitely added to her appeal.

"You look the same." Davina corrected.

The same. Daemon would have liked to think he would have gotten better with age too, wiser even, but maybe he hadnt. she always knew him best. Right now, he wished he had gotten that haircut instead of drinking away the morning trying to prepare to see davina again.

"Mum...' Aemond whispered grabbing  her hand.

"Lets go baby."

"This is your kid..."

"Mine." Davina agreed turning Aemond around

"How old are kid?" Daemon asked looking to aemond

"He doesn't answer to you." Davina corrected

"How old are you kid?"

"You are nothing to him."

"Nothing? I find that strange." Daemon countered

"Im sure you find many things strange. "Davina corrected.

"How old are you kid!" Daemon shouted

"Don't yell at my son!" Davina demanded.

"Im ten!" Aemond declared. "Geeze."

"Ten". Daemon repeated.

"Whats the big deal?" Aemond demanded.

"Nothing. Nothing at all. Time for bed Aemond. Its late." Davina requested wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"Davina!" Daemon hissed.

"Fuck off daemon. "

"He's-"

"MINE!" Davina hissed. "My boy."
