"Aemond made me do it!" Luke shouted. Aemond turned to look at luke giving him a 'really?' Look.

Davina looked them over, slim from dragonstones dragons mott covered them.

"Digging for dragon eggs?" Davina pondered. They had taken a trip but the boys wandered off by themselves. Rhaenyra laughed out as they were covered in slimy dragon egg guts.

"I got an egg." Aemond corrected.

Davina squealed running to him like she did every time he got a new egg, with their luck all the eggs would hatch and Aemond would have an army of dragons at his disposal.

"I got a dragon... I can feel it, I can tell mama!" Aemond declared. "I can tell! This one is it!"

Criston wanted this dragon to be it for Aemond, he deserved to have what he craved most in the world. And then it started to hatch.

Aemond and Davina both held their breaths as the egg started to break, time seemed to stand still in that moment as a little green nose broke through, he was so little. But he made Aemond's heart light up. This was it, he had never felt more targaryen before. He had a dragon, it was all his. He was going to be dragon rider one day.

Davina couldn't be more proud of her son although he did run off without her permission. But that was something she used to do so she was proud of him. Following in his mothers wild footsteps.

Aemond got a dragon, beautiful shades of greens, yellows, reds, he was so proud but the dragon never seemed to grow. He stared back at his mother as LightLark lay perched on his arm.

"Arent they supposed to grow faster?" Aemond asked. Davina hesitated, her Fury was slow to grow, he snuggled in bed with her like a cat for a while, before growing into a large dog sized space at the bottom of her bed. Out of all the dragons and all the eggs Aemond got one he would never be able to fly.

"There is still time, dragons keep growing until they die

"There is still time, dragons keep growing until they die." Davina reminded him. But as the days passed, he was certainly bonded to the little dragon, but the moons proved no greater gain to his tiny arm perching dragon.

Lia liked him however.

"LightLark is beautiful!" Lia declared touching the dragons head. Aemond blushed, happy for his little dragon now, Lia admitted she was nervous around the dragons, the bigger dragons but LightLark was so cute and little, it was impossible to be afraid of him. Aemond's face fell for a brief moment. He wanted his enemies in the future to see him riding his dragon and be scared, or to ride with Lia on dragon back like he did with his mother and Fury.

"He's a baby," aemond answered. "He will get bigger one day." He added.

"He's so cute little. Like puppies and kittens, cuter when they are little." Lia assured. Aemond supposed light lark was rather cute but not ferocious. But lia was happy. Happy with a baby dragon in his arm one she could pet and get close to him while she did it.

Get a baby animal and it's a chick magnet.

Lia spent more time avoiding her chores with mother and more time chasing after aemond and his little dragon.

"Aemond seems happy. Even despite the small dragon..." criston offered. Davina smiled.

"I think he has a little girlfriend in the making. Strong!" She shouted.  Harwin glanced their way. "Is my baby going to get his heart broken by your niece?"

"Shes a sweetheart." Harwin assured. "And she's a strong so you know she's good." Criston rolled his eyes. "Keep rolling your eyes cole. You might find a brain in your head." Criston moved to lunge forward but Davina grabbed him

"No. This is supposed to be about my aemond not you two and your never ending pissing match."
