Jason carefully snuck Theo, Blaise, and Daphne into the Ravenclaw Common Room. The four of them stood in the corner, where Jason pointed to the wall. "This is the spot that was showing a hidden passage. It would be much easier to find if I still had that compass," he said, a hint of frustration in his voice.

"You are looking for the lost Ravenclaw Laboratorium," a voice said behind them. The quartet turned to see the Grey Lady floating there, her ghostly form shimmering in the dim light.

"The Ravenclaw Laboratorium?" Jason questioned, his curiosity piqued.

"What is the lost Ravenclaw Laboratorium?" Toni asks

"When the Founders knew they were dying, it is rumored that they each created a Labatorium with tests so anyone worthy of being in their house would find their work." McGonagall says "No one has found any of them." she finishes, not noticing Emilia and Theo exchange looks, Emilia putting her finger over her lips, Theo nodding with a grin

"Yes," the Grey Lady replied. "It's where Rowena Ravenclaw herself hid her personal notes, creations, and thoughts. Many Ravenclaws over the centuries have tried to enter the Laboratorium, but none have proven worthy of entering it."

The Grey Lady waved her hand, and with that, a door materialized in front of them. "Go now and enter if you believe yourselves worthy," she said before floating through a wall.

Jason, Theo, Blaise, and Daphne stepped through the door and entered the Ravenclaw Laboratorium. As the door closed behind them, they found themselves in the first room, which was dimly lit by blue flames flickering in sconces along the walls. The atmosphere was charged with anticipation, and they could feel the weight of the centuries-old magic in the air.

The room was circular, with walls covered in intricate carvings and ancient symbols. In the center of the room stood a large, ornate pedestal with an open book resting on top. Above the book floated a shimmering blue crystal, casting a soft, ethereal glow.

As they approached the pedestal, the carvings on the walls began to shift and change, forming a complex riddle:

"I am not alive, but I grow; I do not have lungs, but I need air; I do not have a mouth, and yet I can drown. What am I?"

Jason furrowed his brow, considering the riddle carefully. "Rowena Ravenclaw must have wanted to test any Ravenclaws who entered her Laboratorium over Ravenclaw house values," he hypothesized, his voice steady. "This challenge must be designed to challenge our wit."

"Makes sense."

Daphne looked thoughtful as she examined the carvings. "It's something that grows but isn't alive... It needs air but has no lungs... And it can drown without a mouth..."

Theo paced back and forth, deep in thought. "It sounds like a metaphor," he mused. "Something that fits all those descriptions... Maybe it's an element or a force of nature?"

Blaise snapped his fingers. "A fire! It's a fire. Fire isn't alive, it grows with air, and it can be extinguished by water."

Jason's eyes lit up. "That makes sense. Let's try it."

He stepped forward and spoke confidently. "The answer is fire."

The blue crystal above the book flared brightly, and the carvings on the walls stopped shifting. The pedestal and book began to glow, and a hidden door in the wall opposite them slid open with a soft grinding sound.

"You did it!" Daphne exclaimed, her eyes shining with excitement as she hugged Blaise. Theo and Jason pretended not to see the other teen blush.

As the teens walk into the next room they could see in the center of the room was a large, ornately carved table. On it lay several parchments, each containing a riddle. The air was charged with the weight of the centuries-old magic, and they could feel the challenge that awaited them.
