Sunstone looked at the map he had snagged from his sleeping cave. He was a little lost, trying to get to the cafeteria.

"Uhh.. left?" He muttered to himself, trying to venture through the mountain.

He took a sharp left and saw the large archway into the huge cafeteria. He looked into the huge cave with awe, seeing all the bustling students getting dinner. There were large tables that held about 10 at a time, which left most of them empty. There was only about 35 students at Jade Mountain this year, and only 5 teachers, about 10 cafeteria workers, 2 janitors, and Principal Evening. That added up to be about 53 dragons staying at Jade Mountain.

Sunstone walked up to the cafeteria bar, already knowing what he wanted.

A kind seawing noticed him. "Hi there!" She said. "What can I get for ya' ?"

"Hi, ma'am. Can I get a roasted venison sandwich and some rabbit? I'm guessing roasted as well." He asked.

"Of course!" She said. "Give me just a moment please."

Sunstone looked around, waiting for his order.

Sunstone caught Reefs eye, and he waved erratically at him, trying to get his attention. Sunstone noticed him and went to sit by him.

"I didn't know this was where you went!" Sunstone said. "Well- I mean- it's not like you went to the art cave or something." He chuckled.

Reef laughed. "Nah. I'm not artsy fartsy like Corroborre." He shoved some fish into his mouth. "Hph amwaphs liphes tph dph arph." He said with a full mouth.

"What?" Sunstone said.

Reef held up one finger and swallowed his food. "Sorry, I said, 'he always likes to do art.'" Reef explained.

"Oh." Sunstone chuckled.

Maybe Reef knows something about the feeling I have? Should I ask?

"Hey, Reef?" Sunstone said.

"Yeah?" Reef asked curiously.

"Uhm.. so ever since I met Viper, I get this fluttery feeling, and my face gets hot when I talk to her, and like, I'm really confused.." he said. "Do you.. know what it is? Ive- I've never felt it before."

"Oooooh!!!!" Reef said. "Buddy," he started. "It seem that you have a crush." Reef said smoothly. "I had a crush last year. It was this nightwing girl named Moonreader. Turns out she didn't like boys..." he said. "You got the exact symptoms of a major crush man!" He said excitedly.

"Wait- what is a crush?" Sunstone asked.

"It's hard to explain..." Reef said. "But how I would put it is when you love somedragon. Like, they make you act weird, get you flustered, make you have a fluttery feeling every time your around them, all that stuff." He said. "You also would want to do ANYTHING to be around them, near them, with them."

That's exactly how I feel about her. I- I wonder if she feels the same way to me? Sunstone thought.

But before he could say anything to Reef, he heard him name called to get his food. He walked up to the bar and grabbed his food.

"Thank you, ma'am." He nodded to the seawing.

"No problem." She said.

He walked back to Reef.

"Hey, I'm gonna bring back this food. Snowbird ordered some so I gotta go back to give it to him." Sunstone explained to Reef.

"I just finished my fish. I'll come with ya'." Reef said, getting up.

"Alright then." Said Sunstone.

They both walked back to thier sleeping cave together.

When Sunstone walked in, the smell of hot, freshly cooked rabbit caught Snowbirds nose and his head instantly whipped to the door.

"Wooh! I was getting hungry!" Snowbird said. "Thanks, dude." He said, taking his plate from Sunstone and setting it where he was drawing.

Sunstone sat his plate down on the small dining table and sat down. He went to town on his venison, savoring every bite. It was his favorite food. His mom had always cooked it. He misses his mom. He's sure that she's fine as of right now though.

"So," said Lunarpool. "Uh.. a little bird told me that you have.. a crush." He whispered.

Sunstones face got a little red, embarrassed. Reef seriously told him!

"Uhh.. yes. Just- just don't tell anyone else, please! Or her!" He whispered back.

"I don't even know who it is?" Lunarpool said. "By the moons, PLEASE tell me!"

"As long as you promise to not say a WORD about it." He said sternly.

"Tippy promise!" He said, holding the tip of his tail up.

They touched the tip of thoer tails together, and Sunstone nodded. He leaned in, close to Lunarpool.

"Its.." He whispered hesitantly into Lunarpools ear. "..Viper." He whispered finally.

Lunarpool covered his mouth with one talon, and stood on his hind legs, balancing on those because he only has half of the other arm. He took his talon off his mouth. "Secret is safely kept with me." He said. He leaned in close to Sunstone. "If you ever want to tell her, but your to scared, I can do it for you." He whispered. He backed up, winked, and walked back to his spot where he was reading.

Sunstone knows it'll be safe with Lunarpool. He's a good friend, after all. Maybe he'll tell Viper, when he know she feels the same.
