"You're a lot more better now at sensing people."
My heart pounded with anger when I heard that familiar voice.
Naalarma ako to its extent pero inipon ko ng mabilisan lahat ng lakas ko at kinontrol ang nagbabadyang emosyon na anytime soon at posibleng sumabog.
I tried to control my breathing... I can't afford to look weak like before when he's around.
"Seeing you not surprised by my presence is surprising." That baritone voice is really annoying.
"I have eyes and ears everywhere." Sagot ko at dahan dahan siyang hinarap. "I've been told anyways." Casual kong saad, trying to maintain my poker face kahit gustong gusto ko na siyang sakalin.
Walang nag sabi sakin about him pero I already know even from miles away na dadating yung punto na maghaharap ulit kami. Also, narinig ko lang to sa kapatid ko last time habang kausap niya si papa.
It's been too long now since the last time I've seen him. He still has the same face of a perfect human. What a steal, he got the looks of her. This annoying bastard... it feels so illegal for seeing her face in him.
"What a scam.." He chuckled, "eyes and ears everywhere, you say?" Tanong nito. "Then why is she still missing—"
"DO NOT EVEN MENTION HER!" I yelled, clenching my fist in so much anger.
How dare he?! After all what he had done?! He has the audacity to speak of her?
"I still have the right to speak about her." He replied with a straight face. Hindi ko siya mabasa. It was still the same face of the man who betrayed me years ago after all. "I'm not your enemy."
I can't believe what I'm hearing right now. Not my enemy huh?
I tried to breathe, controlling my welling anger by force. "You put my life in danger, many times."
All his acts were intentional. Ni hindi man lang siya nag attempt humingi ng tawad sakin dahil lahat ng kagagawan niya ay it's either by force or sinasadya!
He's evil in every aspect!
"That's because he values your worth more than he values mine."
"You know I never wanted the power—" he cut me off when he stepped forward, alerting me in all possible ways.
A brawl in broad daylight?!
"Then give it to me." He coldly said but I didn't show any emotion, giving him the impression of i-don't-give-a-fuck-about-what-he-might-do-to-me.
If he's dead, then so am I.
"Ask mom and dad. It's not my place to give up the power for some bastard like you." I can't let him know na hindi ko parin napipirmahan yung kontrata.
That will trigger his intense hatred for dad and hunger for the throne.
God knows what he might do once he gets to this information.
