Sunstone had finished his food, and the winglet was playing a board game.

"Aww, DANGIT!" cursed Viper. "I only got one!" She giggled.

Her happy giggle gave Sunstone that crush feeling again. When should he tell her? In a long time? In a short time? He doesn't know! Whenever he is sure she feels the same way, he'll tell her. They all laughed at Vipers misfortune in the game. She moved it up one square.

"Alright, my turn." Said Lunarpool. He rolled the stone dice, watching it land on 4. "Oooh! I got a decent roll." He moved his green pebble four spaces, but he landed on a trick spot, and got sent back 2. "Snail brain!" He cursed, moving his pebble back 2. "Stupid trick spot." He muttered, then laughed.

"My turn!" Said Sunstone, grabbing his orange pebble. He rolled the dice, and it landed on 6! The best you can get! "Ooh hoo!! I got six!! I got six!!" He moved his pebble up six, passing Viper, Reef, and Corroborre. His luck got cut short though, landing on a trick spot and got sent pack 3. "Crocodile toes!" He cursed. He laughed as he moved his pebble back three, his pebble landing on the same spot as Viper.

Viper looked at him, and smiled. His face got hot another time, and the fluttery feeling like one hundred trillion butterflies in his chest showed up once again, even stronger this time. Now that he knows it's a crush, he understands it more. But what if she doesn't crush on him back? What if she is just acually being nice to him but she thinks he's weird? What if.. she didn't mean it when she asked to be his friend?

But it felt real to him. She sounded sincere, and like she really did mean it, and was nervous about asking because he might of said no? (Although he would have never turned down the chance to be around her more.) He was sure that's what it was. He tried his best to forget about it, pushing it to the farthest depths of his mind. (Or at least attempting to.)

They continued playing thier game, and soon, it ended with Corroborre acually coming back and winning.

It was now about seven, according to the clock hung topsily on the wall of the cave. It was about time for dinner, but Sunstone wasn't very hungry.

He lay on his bed, staring out the window at the sunset. It was the colder months of the year, so the sun sets earlier and the three moons rose earlier.

"I'm immensely bored right now." Raidiance said from the other side of the room.

"Three moons, me too." Lunarpool said.

Sunstone laughed. "It is kind of boring right now." He agreed.

Viper sighed. "How about we go to like the art cave or music cave or library? I mean- I would rather go to the music cave, since its open for students after classes. I- I don't really prefer art or reading." She suggested, poking her head up from her layed back position on her bed.

"Well, sorry if we all wanna do stuff together, but I, personally, would rather go to the art cave." Corroborre said. "If that's okay with you guys, of course." He said kindly.

Lunarpool looked up quietly, suddenly joining the conversation. "I think I'll go to the library myself, if that's okay. A good quiet atmosphere would be great to read my scroll." He said "And.. I'm nearly done with my scroll, and I'll be able to start the next one... so.."

"Okay, that's fine." Sunstone said. He'll probably go to music cave with Viper. Because Viper's going there. Only because Viper's going there. Music isn't his favorite class, but it's not his least favorite. Of course, history will always be his favorite. No dragon would change his mind.

"I guess I'll go to the music cave." He said. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a faint smile from Viper, then barely saw her look away. It made his heart flutter, seeing her warm smile that radiated like the sun on a blistering hot day in the desert.

I hope she feels the same way. My whole year would be ruined.. he thought. No, I can't let it completely ruin it, I am allowed to be sad though, right? I am, I'm sure. But not yet. I can't tell her yet. He thought.

"Oh, well I guess you're going with me then." Viper said gleefully. She sidled a little closer to Sunstone. "Wanna go now?"

He was feeling all warm and fluttery, and didn't completely notice what she said after about 10 seconds.

"Oh- yes- uh- what?" He stuttered, startled. He was a little embarrassed about his stupid nervous stuttering because of his fluttering heart.

Viper giggled a little. "Wanna go now?" She echoed herself.

"Oh- yes, sure." Sunstone said with a slight chuckle.

"Great. Anything you wanna bring there? I'm not bringing anything except for my drum solo from back home so I can play it. It reminds me of my older brother." She said, walking to her bed and searching through her snakeskin bag. She pulled out a sheet of paper with notes on it. "Here it is.." She mumbled to herself.

"I'm not gonna bring anything. I usually don't do music but it's just pretty cool to me." He said And that you like music and I wanna go with you. He thought. "I played the cello in class and it was pretty cool." He said. "I- I'm not particularly good at it, but it's cool." He said with a shrug.

"It's fine weather you're good or you're not." She shrugged. "Just have fun, I guess." She said with a laugh.

Her laugh, her smile, her feisty, yet kind personality, everything about her, just being around her felt like bliss to Sunstone.

"Ready to go?" She asked.

"Oh- yeah, I'm ready." He said, snapping out of his thoughts.

"Alright then." She said. "Let's go!" She said cheerfully, bumping his shoulder.

His face got hot again, he just ignored it though. He will spend alone time with her. With the girl he has a "crush" on. Should he tell her in the music cave? But what if it's not the right time? It's not just time yet. He can wait. Plus, he found out he had a crush on her just earlier today, he should see if this continues.

For now, he'll keep his mouth shut, and just act normal.
