Theo's Pov
After Malia left, handing me the supplies for me and the boys, I looked down, feeling my heart race. This sensation was unfamiliar to me. It's a feeling I'm not really sure of. Hearing my friends coming back from upstairs, Alex walked towards me, noticing the first aid kit in my hand. "Finally, I can clean this beautiful face of mine." Alex said, randomly posing.
The day went on, and we're still here with Malia keeping her company. She had different board games, but Noah Mind was set to play Uno. Every time he plays, he either wins or throws a tantrum if we drop a plus 4 on him. So let's see how this goes.
Leon, you have to be cheating or something," Noah said in distress. The boy only had 1 card; we just started the game. Leon came up with different excuses, stating he's just that good, but every time we play, he normally loses. As I looked to my right, I saw the girls pointing to something near Leon, so I looked down. This boy was hiding the rest of his uno cards underneath the table. "Leon, pick up the rest of your cards," I stated. He looked at me, acting like he didn't know what I was talking about, so Alex took notice and snatched his uno cards from the table. It all got quiet until Noah jumped onto Leon, yelling "cheater." I'm used to this by now.
As the chaos of Uno ended, we were all relaxing and wishing the day didn't come to an end. "Malia, I have a question." Kira asked, grabbing our attention. Malia looked at her, telling Kira to continue. "I know this isn't my business, but how are you friends with Lisa?" Kira finally asked. I've been dying to hear about this, honestly. Lisa and Malia are complete opposites. "She's my first friend and took time to know me other than anyone else," Malia answered, looking up at the ceiling. I can tell she has so many stories to tell, but it's a time and place for everything. Just like the issue with Brian.
Flashback
"Now you boys know there's no fighting in my school; I hope you guys understand that." Principal Harris said. I didn't get any of what he said; I was busy focusing on the few words Jackson said out of his mouth that made me punch him. "All do respect, sir, but these weirdos are the ones that started it." One of Jackson's friends said. He's lucky we're in this office; I would've punched him some more. "Now you know that's bull-" Alex cut off his sentence, noticing the look Principal Harris was giving him. "I don't care who started what, but a girl got physically hurt by one of you. All of you have detention," he stated with no hesitation.
looked to my right, seeing Jackson rolling his eyes at the statement. Why is he acting this way? All of this is his girlfriend's fault. Should be getting mad at her instead. "You guys may go; don't let me see you guys again, he said, letting us out of the office.
As me and the boys walked in the other direction, Jackson stepped in front of us, blocking our way. He's asking for another beating, I see. "You guys may have gotten away with this, but it isn't over. I guess scaring your friend away wasn't enough after all, "Jackson stated with a low tone. I was about to go for him again, but Alex caught me just in time. "He's not worth it, Theo," Alex said, ignoring my glaze. After everything that happens, Alex always tries to stay strong for us. especially losing your own brother.
Flashback ended
I try my best to protect my friends, but there's a lot of challenges coming our way. Heck, I don't even know if we can handle all of this; we'll see later on.
