For days, the group scoured every corner of Anubis House, searching for any sign of the missing pieces of the Seal of Anubis. They explored forgotten rooms, hidden passageways, and dusty attics, but the house kept its secrets well-guarded.

One evening, as Amelia was searching the library, she stumbled upon an old book that seemed out of place. The cover was worn, and the title was barely legible. The Guardians of the Underworld. Her heart skipped a beat.

Flipping through the pages, Amelia found detailed illustrations of the Seal of Anubis, along with descriptions of its components. The book mentioned that the second piece was hidden “where the living meet the dead.” She immediately thought of the old cemetery behind the house.

Amelia and Theo set out that night, slipping out of the house under the cover of darkness. The cemetery was eerily silent, the moon casting long shadows over the ancient gravestones.

“This has to be it,” Amelia said, her breath visible in the cold air. “The living and the dead—it makes sense.”

They searched the cemetery for what felt like hours, but just as they were about to give up, Theo noticed something odd. One of the gravestones had a small symbol carved into it—the same symbol as the amulet.

“This is it,” he said, kneeling down. “There’s something underneath.”

Amelia helped him dig through the dirt, and after a few minutes, they uncovered a small, golden piece of the seal.

“We did it,” Amelia whispered, holding it up to the moonlight. “Now we just need one more.”

But as they stood up, they realized they were no longer alone. The shadowy figures had returned, and this time, they weren’t waiting in the distance.
