With the golden key in hand, the group made their way back to the underground chamber. The cold stone walls seemed to hum with ancient energy, as if the house itself was alive and aware of their presence.

Theo inserted the key into the lock of a stone door they had previously been unable to open. The mechanism groaned, and slowly, the door creaked open, revealing a hidden room.

The chamber was bathed in an eerie glow, and at its center stood a pedestal with a small, golden piece resting on top.

“The final piece of the seal,” Amelia said, stepping forward. Her heart raced as she reached out to take it, but the moment her fingers touched the piece, the ground shook violently.

“Amelia, get back!” Theo shouted, pulling her away just as the walls of the chamber began to crumble.

The shadows had returned, more powerful than ever. They swarmed the room, filling it with an icy darkness. The group barely had time to react before the shadows attacked, their cold presence draining the warmth from the air.

“We can’t let them take the seal!” Lily shouted, pulling out the pieces they had collected.

Theo grabbed the third piece, quickly placing it with the others. “We have to combine them—now!”

The pieces began to glow, their light intensifying as Theo and Amelia connected them. But the shadows weren’t backing down. They lunged toward the group, and for a moment, it seemed as though all hope was lost.

Then, with a blinding flash, the Seal of Anubis was restored. The light from the seal erupted, forcing the shadows back. They screamed in agony as the curse began to break.

But something else stirred within the chamber—something older and far more dangerous than the shadows.
