As Theo emerged from the pit, the room began to tremble once more. The shadows dissipated, and the golden light of the seal filled the chamber.
The Guardian appeared before them, his form flickering as the curse weakened.
“You have proven yourselves worthy,” the Guardian said. “The curse is broken, and Anubis will no longer haunt this house. You are free.”
The group exchanged relieved glances. They had done it.
