A long series of peaceful days followed in the town of monsters, located in the Great Jura Forest.That was until, several hundred winged horses ridden by knights entered the air space of the town.
The security and intelligence team noticed immediately. They all took swift action, ensuring the safety of the residents while preparing to approach the intruders.
<We have an emergency. Several hundred winged horses are headed for the direction of the town.>
<What are Rimuru-sama's orders?>
<He has asked us to confirm their intentions before taking any other action.>
<If they are hostile?>
<Wipe them out.>
Everyone was calm and collected, as they gauged the situation. The intruders seem to be powerful in their own right. If a fight broke out, civilians may be injured which was why they had made sure that everyone was safe.
They were confident that they could handle the trespassers without much difficulty. Which was why they didn't dare call for their master. It'd be a huge blow to them to call their master, an extremely powerful demon lord to take care of some small fries.
It would be a shameful act they wouldn't be able to repay even with their lives.Benimaru, Shion, Soei, Hakurou, Rigurd, Rigur, Soru and Haru calmly made their way to the visitors who had already landed.
The visitors took side long glances at the magic borns present. The knights were lined up in neat rows in the field beyond the city. In front was one whose force of presence dominated over all of them. He was flanked by four bodyguards, each several times stronger than the rest of the force.
Benimaru started "Who are you? And state your reasons for your visit here Dwarves." He didn't want to start a fight he wasn't sure of winning.
He has learned a great deal after his encounter with Rimuru. He wouldn't want to raise hostilities when the other side hadn't yet.
The others with him were silent, analysing the people in front of them.
They were ready for any altercations that may arise.King Gazel sensing that the magic borns before him were strong and that there were more of them in the town behind them spoke carefully.
"I am Gazel Dwargo, the king of the Armed nation of Dwargon. I have come to see for myself the gathering of monsters that were capable of stopping the Orc lord.""Hhhm," said Jaine. "This is troublesome. These majins are Kijins— a race just as rare as Orc lords."
"They are? That's the evolved form of an Ogre, is it not? Should we not dispatch them before they grow too strong to handle?"
"You think it'd go that smoothly? There are six of them and I can still sense other powerful presences of the same calibre from the town. We might not win if it comes to that."
"I hate to sound timid, but yes......best not underestimate them."
"But how did so many of them evolve?"
The king looked on silently, but his personal companions seemed fairly unnerved.
"Is that so? Well I believe you've seen enough, you may leave." Benimaru said coldly. He had no intention of letting potential enemies into their town.
"How dare you speak to our king in such a manner!" One of the background knights yelled, pulling his sword. The rest of the knights followed suit.
"Silence! Stand down! This has nothing to do with you!" The king suddenly bellowed, never taking his eyes off of Benimaru and his peers. "You can't simply expect me to leave knowing that monsters that could potentially spell danger for my nation are gathered in one place like this, for all I know you could be planning to invade neighboring nations."
