Several months had passed after Milim's departure. According to her, she had business to attend to. I knew it was related to the demon lords so I warned her to watch out for other people trying to deceive her "Oh you worry too much. I'm really smart, Rimuru, so nobody's gonna trick me." She replied with a smile.

Just like that, she zoomed off. After that, I was busy as always.

While the town was developing, I trained my subordinates daily. The results were astounding to say the least. Their growth was evident since I sparred with them daily without pulling my punches. Their overall magicule count may not have risen, but their battle prowess sure has.

Our city was now worthy of being called a capital of a nation in terms of its scale.

Many weaker races and some other monster species have taken refuge in this town increasing the population even further.

During this time, Eurazania and Tempest has sent envoys to one another.

I had Benimaru, a gifted warrior and my right hand man to lead our envoys. For his assistants, Rigur and a Kijin named Sai were chosen. Their mission was to travel to other nations and report what they observed. They were accompanied by a small group of other Hobgoblins and Kijins, all candidates for future leadership roles in my government.

In return, Carrion sent his best, the Three Beastketeers. Each was as powerful as Phobio.

When they were lead into a meeting hall, where I waited for them.

"I......it is an honour to be in your presence Demon lord Rimuru Tempest." Their nervousness was palpable but understandable.

Things went smoothly. Our nations plan to share skills as well as open up to trading.

When Rigur and Benimaru returned, they had good things to say about Eurazania. Especially their agriculture, as expected.

And so, both our nations became friendlier with one another after the exchange of envoys.

Aside from that, there is also the formal declaration of covenant existing between Dwargon and Tempest.

Since I couldn't make it there personally, I chose Benimaru and Shuna to be my representatives.

Shion had alot to say about that, but we all knew better.

Gazel didn't have a problem with it, he couldn't.

It was time to honour my contract with Shizu.

I gathered my officials and talked things over.

"We understand Lord Rimuru," a sullen Rigurd began "but the idea of you setting off alone is not one we can accept very easily....."

Everyone else agreed, saying a being of my status should always be accompanied by a subordinate.

"No. I want you all to focus on the development and protection of Tempest. You can never tell what will happen, so I need you all to be present in case anything happens."

With Veldora around, I can probably leave with a peace of mind.........

Just as I was thinking, Veldora burst into the room "Rimuru! Rimuru! There's a big problem!" He ran in panicking.

"Is something wrong." I asked.

"It's sister Velzard. She invited me to the ice palace."

'This dude.' I sighed. Veldora always has a way of over exaggerating things when it comes to his sisters.
