My phone went nuts as the alarm for 9 AM was sounding. Slowly, my eyes open as the morning sunlight leaked into my room through the curtains. As I sit up, I hear my roommate, (Your friend's name or Y/F/N) making breakfast in our kitchen. I rub the sleep off my eyes as I walk out to where I smelled bacon.

"Oh hey, (Y/N). Up so early?" Mumbling as I take my phone out, I check if there are any messages. As usual; none. (Y/F/N) makes her way over to the table with two plates of bacon and eggs.

"Soo," she starts as I divert my attention from my plate to her. "You kinda have to go pick up some stuff for me from the store?"
"Why can't you do it?"
"I have... Things... To do..."
"Uh huh. Sure."

I throw out my plate and go to get dressed in my room. I throw on some jeans, my Game Grumps shirt,(above) and my (F/C) converse. I grab my phone and some money and head for the door. I slide on my sweatshirt and open it. "Alright. I'm going to the store now, you lazy son of a buiscit." I call back into the apartment. "Shut up."

I close the door as I make my way down the hallway towards the stairs that lead to the first floor. Opening the door, I make my way outside, "Oh boy. It's raining. Yay." I put my hood up and headed down to Game Stop for a game I've been meaning to get for a while since I saw it on Game Grumps. It has since become one of my favorite playthroughs of theirs; Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. I walk in and see a few people in the store with me, so I kinda just pull down my hood and walk over to the corner with the least amount of people in it. I look at all the Xbox games they have until I look over and there isn't anybody in the Wii section.

I quickly walk over to see if they have the game I'm looking for until, out of the corner of my eye, I see someone walk up and stand next to me. I scoot in the opposite direction so it isn't too awkward. "Kirby's Epic Yarn! I love this game!" I know that voice. I stand to get a glimpse of his face in the corner of my eye. Oh. My. Glob. I gather up all my courage to say something to him. He's been my favorite Grump since I watched them the first time I saw them through Markiplier.

"Uh..." I manage to choke out to him. He turns around and his eyes directly go to my bright shirt. "Hey, I see you're a fan." I nervously look down at my shirt and smile, "Yeah! I love Game Grumps and Steam Train!" "That's awesome! I love meeting fans." he flashed a cute smile at me... wait what.

"So what're you looking for here? I might be able to help. Four eyes are better than two." his voice laced with curiosity. "I'm looking for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. It's one of my favorites of your guys' playthroughs." Dan's face displayed a silly kind of sadness while wiping a fake tear from his eye. "That's a really sad game. Horrifying, but sad." he explained. "It's one of those horror titles that's unbelievably scary and weird, but then the ending ties it up and makes it beautiful. It's so sad though." Giggling, I nod in agreement. I rememebr the ending pretty clearly. (SKIP IF YOU PLAN ON WATCHING THIS) Harry Mason was almost to where Cheryl was until Cybil tells him that he died in a car crash eighteen years ago after he devorced his wife. When he goes into the Lighthouse Clinic, he finds Cheryl is the one in therapy about how she obsessed over her dad's death since she was seven. A pretty sad ending for such a horror driven game.

Dan ran his fingures throught the selection until he abruptly stops on a particular game. "Aha! Is this what you're looking for?" He handed the game to me, as I go to take it I see how much smaller my hands are compared to his. Blushing slightly, I accept the game from him. "Thanks." I hope he didn't see my red face.

As I try to walk my way to the counter to purchase my newly acquired game, I feel Dan's hand on my shoulder. Startled, I turn to see him looking at me with a nervous smile. Honestly, it was kind of adorable. "Hey, you seem really cool. How 'bout we exchange numbers? And then maybe we could hang out some time." My inner fan girl is screaming her head off, but my social skills (what little I have of them) are telling me to play it cool. I nod to avoid any outbursts or voice cracking and take my phone out of my pocket.

I leave Game Stop with my Silent Hill game and a new contact added to my phone. Talking to no one in particular, the only sentence I can spot out at the moment is, "Did that just happen...?"
