No. Not you...
Caroline. One of the worst friends I ever had. She was one of those people who would take advantage of my kindness. She'd steal my things, call me names, and even terrorized my cat for no reason at all. And I let her be my best friend. I look back at those years and think of how much of an idiot I was. After she moved, it was like she had forgotten about me. I was missing half of my comic book collection cause of her! She wouldn't even let me like the same cartoon characters as her! I remember when we first realized we liked the Powerpuff Girls.
"Who's your favorite? Mine's Buttercup." she asked. I smiled, "Buttercup's my favorite too!" She then stomped her foot on the ground and pushed me. "No! She's already my favorite! You have to pick somebody else!" I was shocked to say the least. "You're Blossom cause you look like her!" I had really long hair at the time that reached my waist and my fringe did look like her's. The thing is: I hated the color pink.
"So are these too you're friends? Or are you dating two guys at the same time? Heh, you slut!" She completely shoved me to the side. So she hasn't changed. "Name's Caroline. I'm one of (Y/N)'s old friends from back in the day." She was talking specifically to Mark almost ignoring Dan. Which I'm sort of happy about, but also confused. They're both attractive, but why Mark in particular? I don't know.
She then suddenly pulls me to the side, "Hey, so which one you dating? Hope it's not the cute one." She had the same sly smile she's always had. And by 'cute one' she probably means Mark. I don't know, Danny's pretty adorable. But maybe that's just me. "I'm dating the one in the jacket." I state blankly referring to Danny's jade green jacket. Mark, however, was just wearing a t-shirt. "Really?" 'Is she judging me?!' Caroline walked over to the two boys who were now just talking with each other, while I on the other hand was starting to get a little pissed.
Dan's POV
Caroline walked over to Mark and I while I could see (Y/N) looking a little pissed. Wonder why. "So guys," she began. "I'm having this cool party later if you wanted to come. I mean, me being childhood friends with lil' (Y/N) over there, I thought you may want to get to know more about how she was back then." She seems cool. Plus she's an old friend of (Y/N)'s, so why the hell not. I nod to Mark in approval and he nods back. "Sure! Why the hell not. Might be fun." Caroline smiles at Mark. "Awesome! It'll be at this address and it's at 8 PM." She scribbles on a napkin and hands it to Mark. "See you guys then." She walks away back to her friends while (Y/N) looks back at her with a worried look. Her attention snaps back to me and she rushes back over to us. "What did she give you guys? What happened?" she nervously starts babbling. I take her hands into one of mine and use the other to stroke her cheek while looking deep into her eyes. "It's fine, (Y/N). She just invited us to a party. Nothing serious." She sits down in her chair and looks even more worried. "Why are you so worked up about this? It's just a party." Mark says. She takes her hands back and holds her head up with them. "Cause she just seems worse than she was back then. Just please tell me you won't go to that party." she looks at the both of us. I was kinda hoping to go. I mean it sounds fun. "I'll think about it." was all I could say to calm her down.

(Y/N)'s POV
I sat on the couch in the grumps office downstairs while Danny and Arin were in the game room recording a couple episodes. I couldn't tell what it was since I wasn't really listening. I was too busy with my thoughts. Then the yelling stopped. It seemed like they were done with recording. The door opened and Arin and Danny came out. Danny went upstairs to get some Skittles while Arin scared me by suddenly sitting down next to me making me jump. "Hey, what's got you so jumpy?" I sighed as I explained how I didn't want Danny to be fooled by Caroline like I was. "Yeah. He told me the party thing. I get how you want to protect him, but maybe she's changed. You haven't seen her in years, right?" I nod. "Well maybe she's changed. Just at least give her a chance." Arin got up to join Dan upstairs.
I hate to admit it, but he's right. Maybe I'll even go with Dan and Mark. Maybe she will be better than she was.
