"You deserve to know. I mean you are letting me stay here till Ash is caught. So, here, let's sit down on the bed and I'll close the door." Dan nods and sits while I close the door. I sit next to him, nervous about if I should tell him or not. I decide yes. "Y'see, when I was a little kid, something horrible happened to me. It wasn't abuse, or my parents divorcing, nothing like that. It was bullying. It was the night before the first day of Kindergarten. My parents found out I had an allergy to citrus fruits and they didn't know how serious it was. So they kept me home for the first day of Kindergarten just in case. It turned out to be harmless. So when I entered the class for the second day, everyone... stared at me. Not just that, but some even glared at me. I couldn't understand why. For the next few days, I sat at a table with some other kids who completely ignored me. But there was one kid who would talk to me. His name was Michael. We did everything together. He helped me on projects and work sheets and I even started to have a crush on him. But that all changed when he found out. He yelled at me on the playground. He kept saying things like 'I don't like you!' and 'You're stupid for thinking I did!' It left me heartbroken. It wasn't until then that I noticed that kids would make fun of me for drawing instead of playing, but I usually ignored it. It wasn't until f-first grade that it started to get worse. They then started to push me, kick me, and sometimes even punch me. Then, I met someone else named Andrew. It was just like Michael. He was the only friend I had, and I foolishly started to have a crush on him. But it wasn't like Michael when he found out. He didn't just yell at me and call me names, he actually pushed me down and started to kick me repeatedly. Then he got his friends to join in. After that, I went right back to being friendless. I was so lonely, that it drove me half insane. I started to see things, hear voices, and my eyes were always dry from crying so much. Then my cat, who I'd known since I was two died randomly. Leaving me more heartbroken then I originally was. And on my seventh birthday, my Nana passed as well. Then one day, I decided to end it all. I had been sharpening a pencil all day so that it could be sharp enough to impale me. I planned to do it at recess so that everyone could witness it and hopefully realize what assholes they were being. But before I could do it, this girl named Kayla put her hand on my shoulder and told me that she wanted to be my friend. I dropped the pencil and cried. That's what I wanted to hear. That's all I wanted to hear. So now, I despise anyone who will randomly take advantage of someone's kindness. To me, they should all die in hell. All of them. Every. Single. Fucking. One of them. I even vowed that I would never end up like those... BASTARDS!" Now, I was crying rivers. I fell to my knees and screamed as I held my head, "WHAT DID I EVER DO TO YOU!! WHAT DID I DO!!!" Dan got onto the floor with me and held me in his arms as I cried. I heard the door open and Barry's voice," What's with all the screaming?" Dan motioned for him to leave and he obeyed and closed the door.
Dan's P.O.V
I can't believe something so horrible could happen to someone so sweet. Honestly, I could've murdered each of those fuckers in that instant, but I had to comfort (Y/N). We cuddled for, what felt like forever, until I felt (Y/N)'s grip loosen and her breath slow down. She had fallen asleep in my arms again. I didn't mind though. I actually kinda liked it. I didn't want to disturb her, so I carefully grabbed my blanket and wrapped it around us. I fell asleep cuddling the girl that I was falling in love with.
Hey guys! Just wanna say thanks for all the support I've been getting! Btw, the tornado story and this are both true. I just want to put that out there that I'm not that creative when it comes to those types of events. Usually it comes from my past. Anyway, thank you so much for reading!
