It was set. We knew where he was. We knew where (Y/N) was. And we were ready.

None of us actually possessed any weapons, so we had a plan where Arin would distract Ash as I hid so he couldn't see me. He had seen me before, but not Arin. And if he has, then he probably won't remember him.
We all piled into Arin's car and drove off feeling like complete bad-asses. I would be proud of this, but the one I love was being threatened, so I was fucking pissed.
I let out a shaky sigh as we pulled up across the street from Ash's new place. It was a poorly managed apartment building that looked like it was from the bad part of town, which it was. The whole place was a dark red with some boarded up windows on the top level. The grass was yellow and dead. The lawn was basically a grass graveyard. There were weeds everywhere. It looked as if it hadn't been mowed in years. The door was a moldy green and looked as if it would fall apart at the slightest touch.
"Remember the plan, Danny?" Arin asked looking into his rear view mirror. I nodded. Arin and I both exited the car and strolled up to the front door. I hid in one of the bushes as a sort of surprise, since he's seen what I look like.
He knocked on the door, which smelled of rotting wood. There was a crash, a thud, and then the door opened. "Whatever your selling, I don't want it." It was Ash alright. His wind-swept jet black hair was ragged and knotty. He was wearing a shirt that had stains all over it and he smelled of alcohol. He was drunk, perfect. Best get him while he's out of it.
"Excuse me, have you seen a girl about this tall, (H/L) (H/C) hair and most likely wearing a hoodie and jeans?" Ash's eyes widened, "Who's askin'? You a cop?" Arin laughed at him, which made him look even more pissed. "No," I stood up quickly, "we are your worst nightmare." My fist collided with his jaw and I sent him flying. 'Wow. I didn't think I could hit that hard.'
Arin then runs over to him and grabs him by the collar, lifting him off the ground. While he takes care of him, I then run around the apartment screaming (Y/N)'s name. That's when I get to a secluded room in the back. I see her lying on the ground. "(Y/N)?" No answer. I walk closer, and notice that she's lying in a pool of her own blood. I rush over and hold her in my arms. She's been hit in the head a couple times and she has multiple cuts all over her body. I carry her to where Arin has Ash knocked out and tied up. "I called the police. They'll be here in a bi--" Arin stops and stares at (Y/N)'s bloody body. "STOP FUCKING STARING! WE NEED TO GET HER TO A HOSPITAL NOW!!" He nods and we rush her into the car and drive to the hospital.
                              ---
We burst into the building and run up to the secretary at the front desk. "We think our friend is seriously hurt!" Suzy shouts. She makes an announcement to the doctors, then other nurses show up with a gurney. I set (Y/N) down on it and they rush her into the emergency room.
