I woke with a start. Last night was such a blur. I looked over to see the cover for Monsters Inc. on the table. Oh yeah, I freaked Dan out with how I memorized the entire movie last night, but then he...
I feel Dan stir behind me, "Good morning." I hear him mumble, still sounding a bit sleepy. "Mornin'." Now that I know he's awake and I won't disturb him, I get up and stretch. I smell the warm sent of pancakes coming from the kitchen, so I go to check it out. "Morning, (Y/N)! Did you sleep well?" Suzy has a spatula in her hand while she's over a frying pan filled with pancake batter with a plate of cooked pancakes ready for eating on the counter beside her. I shrug, "Okay, I guess." Her finger tells me to come closer to her, then she whispers in my ear, "I saw you and Dan sleeping on the couch together when I woke up this morning. To be honest, it was adorable." I blushed at the last comment. She giggled and continued to make breakfast.
"Hey, is there anything I can help with?" I ask, changing the subject. "Nah. You're our guest. Just let me take care of it." Suzy winks at me and smiles. I shrug and walk up to Dan's room, since my phone is probably there. I stop in the middle of the stairs. I don't want to go searching through Dan's stuff. That's creepy and rude. I'll just go down and ask him if he knows where it is. So, I make my way to the living room to see Dan sitting up and watching tv. "Hey Dan?" I call to him. "Do you happen to know where my phone went?" He nodded and urged me to follow him upstairs to his room.
When we entered, he reached into the pocket of a pair of jeans that were folded on the floor. They couldn't be his, they look too tiny. Almost my size. "Here. I kept them in your jeans." My jeans? I looked down to see myself in kitten pajamas that were a little big on me. How did I not notice? Then again it's me. "Thanks." I unlock it and see that I have about 23 new messages from (F/N). They are all "Where are you?", "Are you okay?", and "ANSWER ME!!"s. Figures. I finally text her back to tell her where I am. (M=Me and R=Roommate)
M: Don't worry. I'm fine. I'm with Dan and all them.
R: WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU? I WAS WORRIED SICK!
M: I fell asleep during the tornado.
R: How? You're you.
M: True, but I was in the basement with everybody, so I kind of relaxed and fell asleep.
R: Okay. I'm calm now. Just tell me when you're coming home, okay?
M: Kay.
I locked my phone and went downstairs to set the table for breakfast. "Where are the plates and silverware?" "Oh you don't need to do this." Suzy reasured me. "At least let me feel not like complete shit." She nodded and pointed me to where the silverware and plates were. I set the table and made sure there were plates, forks, and knives for all six of us. Then, Ross came down the stairs, "I smell food." followed by a yawning Barry and Arin who greeted Suzy with a kiss on the cheek before taking his plate and partaking of some pancakes. "Let's dig in!"

I thank Suzy for breakfast, then make my way to Dan's room to get dressed in my own clothes. After I get ready to go, I feel inside my pockets for my-- "Oh shit."
I run down into the basement where everyone was getting ready for a new day of grumping. "Guys," I start quite frantically. "I can't find my keys." Ross stands up holding them in a teasing way. "Looking for these?" He smirks. "Yes, can I have them please?" "You have to get them yourself." He drops my keys down his pants and shivers a little at how cold they are. I walk over to him with anger painted across my face. "Alright, you asked for it." My face is but inches away from his, then I open my eyes and give him the Stare. After a few moments of direct eye contact, Ross takes my keys and gives them to me. Satisfied, I let him out of my trance, "Thank you." He blinks out of disbelief out of what I just made him do. "How did you do that?" "Oh, I've always been able to do that. I can sorta put people in a trance when I do that. I usually do it when one of my younger cousins misbehaves. Works every time." "That's awesome!" I hear Dan say. I smile him. Suddenly everyone is around me saying that I have an awesome power. Then I hear Kevin come down the stairs. "What's going on?"
I wave goodbye to everyone before shutting the door and starting my journey back home with my Ross tainted keys. When I arrive back at my apartment, I am greeted by (F/N) and the biggest hug I've ever been given by her. "I was sooo worried! You freaked out when the sirens went off didn't you." "Yeah." I nod. "But it was fine. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to take a well deserved power shower."
