The Massacre

Chapter 7

The next day I woke up later than usual. I had a really good dream about Damian. Today I had to go winter clothes shopping with Emily. I was not excited. Emily always ignores me and talks to her boy the whole time when we are shopping. That's why I wanna see if Damian or Scarlett can come. I have to ask them both and then make sure that's ok with my parents. Plus at the mall, I got to find my ball gown. Hopefully Damian can come so he can look for his tuxedo too. I am still happy he said yes. My heart flutters anytime I think about him.

I pulled out my phone and texted both Damian and Scarlett about the mall trip. Now I just wait for a response. I got out of bed and found a white dress to wear today. I got dressed and went into the bathroom. I did my hair and makeup. Then I placed my fake teeth in my mouth since we will be going out. After I got done getting ready I checked my phone. Damian responded.

Damian: Hey baby, I can't today. I got to help my mom with something at her work. To make it up to you, how about we go out to dinner tonight?

Me: Oh ok that's fine with me. I love you.

Damian: I love you too.

Then I saw Scarlett responded.

Scarlett: Sorry bestie, but my dad is making me clean the house today.

Me: Oh ok.

I guess I was alone for this mall trip but at least I have a dinner date tonight. I have to let my parents know so they can plan dinner without me.

I grabbed my purse and left my room. I went downstairs into the living room. I sat on the chair and saw my mom walked in. "Goodmorning" she said. I looked at her as she sat on the sofa. "Morning mom, is it ok if tonight I go out for dinner with Damian?" I asked. She took a moment to think and then she nodded. I smiled. "Emily said she should be ready to go any minute now. Don't forget to find a ball you want too" my mom told me. I nodded. "Does Damian know he needs to find a tuxedo?" My mom asked. "Yes mom. I'll remind him again later too" I grinned. Emily walked in. "Ready sis?" She asked. I stood up and nodded. "Bye mom!" We both said. My mom waved goodbye as we went outside. We got into Emily's car. I had to sit in the back since her boy was in the passenger seat. "You excited?" Robert, Emily's boyfriend, asked. I had to lie but I nodded. I was not excited because I wanted to be with my bestie or boyfriend during this shopping trip. Emily always acts so nice to me when she is around strangers but deep down she is mean. That's why I had to defend myself last night. I couldn't let her be like that in front of Damian. I still got to bite someone too or my parents will find out the truth about how I feel about being a vampire.

It took us a few minutes to finally arrive at the mall. We went in and immediately found a store to enter. I walked off alone to look at some sweaters. I had a small budget but I was going to make it work. As I was looking at the sweaters, this one girl looked at me. She looked around my age. "Can I help you?" She asked me. "Oh I was just looking I got to find some winter clothes" I smirked. She gave me a small nod and continued to stock the clothing racks. She had brown hair and brown eyes. Something about her kept drawing me to look at her. Was I feeling attracted to a girl? I thought I was straight. Or is she the one I should bite? "What's your name?" I asked her. She looked at me. "Lily. Why?" She questioned. I had to make up an excuse. "Oh I was just wondering" I giggled. Something about the way she talks too is attracting. I don't know where these feelings are coming from. Maybe it's a part of being a vampire. I don't know what to do. Maybe if I bite her the feelings will go away since I have Damian. Luckily Emily was not nearby or she would be making fun of me at this point. Now the next question is how do I bite her? Maybe I could sneak her into the fitting room if I went to try on some clothes. I grabbed a couple sweaters and asked if I could use the fitting room. Lily led me to one of the stalls in the back. She opened the stall door, I had to take my chance. I pushed Lily against the wall in the stall and choked her. I leaned in and bit her. She screamed in pain. I felt so bad but her blood tasted so good. This was my first bite. I covered her mouth so no one could hear her. After I got done biting her there was a mark on her neck. "What the fuck was that?" She asked me. "I needed a taste of blood" I admitted. She was scared. "Are you a vampire" she questioned. I nodded and ran out of the fitting room. I bought a couple of the sweaters I found and then hurried out of the store. I saw Lily come out of the fitting room from outside the window. She looked furious. Emily and Robert were in a different store so I went to the dress shop by myself. There were so many ball gowns and dresses to choose from. "How may I help you dear?" The one woman said to me. "I am looking for a ball gown" I said. The one woman led me to the ball gown section. She told me I could choose any ones for this section. I went through the whole section which took me a bit of time but I found a perfect red ruffled ball gown. I told the woman who was working this one was the one. She bagged it up neatly and checked me out. I paid and left the store. I went to the food court to sit and wait for Emily to be done with her shopping. I wanted to be quick today since I didn't want to be caught as a vampire. I do still want to talk to Lily more. She kind of was hot and even her blood tasted better than Damian's. I had to hide this all from him or I will be screwed. Luckily Emily and Robert found me at the table in the food court. We all went to the car. I put my things in the trunk and then got in the car. "Emily" I said. She looked back at me. I took a deep breath and said, "I had my first bite". She gasped. "What? How?" She asked. I explained how I saw Lily and had an attraction to her. I never felt bisexual before but now I think I am. Emily was happy for me. "What are you going to do now? Be with Lily or Damian?" She questioned. I shrugged my shoulders and looked out the window. We drove back home. I went to my room with my new clothes. My mom and dad came in and saw the new ball gown. "Gorgeous" my dad smiled. I gave them a big hug. I didn't tell them anything about Lily though.

After they left my room, I got on my bed to rest before later. I got on TikTok. I was being tagged in a certain video. It was from Lily!

Lily: (with a green screen background of a picture of me) This girl bit me in my store today. She is a vampire don't let her lie to you. Don't trust her. She will take your blood. Fuck her!

I was shocked by this video. I started to cry. I don't want Damian seeing this video or even my friends. I had to get this video taken down. I thought I was attracted to her but I guess that is gone. She is a prick. I reported the video over and over. As I was reporting the video, Damian texted me.

Damian: So why did you bite a girl?

Me: Look I am sorry but I didn't want to fully bite you. I had to find someone else to hurt.

Damian: well you could have told me or maybe I would have let you.

Me: I'm sorry

Damian: you know what? I don't want dinner. Be lucky if we are still together by tomorrow.

I was miserable now. Now my own boyfriend wants to possibly break up. If my mom and dad sees that video then I'll be in more trouble. Scarlett hasn't texted me yet so that was a relief. I spent the rest of the afternoon crying. Then that's when I got a knock on my bedroom door. My mom and dad came in again. They looked upset. "You didn't bite your own boyfriend?" My mom asked. I sat up with tears in my eyes. "Mom no. I didn't want to hurt him" I cried. "You could have told us how you feel sweetheart" my dad expressed. I cried even more since I let my parents down. I told them that Damian even found out and now I might not be able to have a boyfriend anymore. "We will cancel the ball if he breaks up with you" my mom told me. I nodded. My dad left the room. My mom stayed to comfort me. Emily brought me in some food for dinner. "Thanks" I said. I tried to eat and drink but I was too sad to even eat. My mom and sister left my room. I eventually just cried myself to sleep. I didn't even finish my food. I was just so sad. Who knows what my future holds anymore. Now my family and I are exposed. My identity is out. This is my worse nightmare.
