Joel enters the dimly lit room, where Rick and Leeza are already seated at a table strewn with files and documents related to the Peakwest project.

Joel: Thanks for bringing me in, guys. What’s the latest on the situation?

Rick: It’s not good, Joel. We’re facing a lot of backlash, and it seems to be getting worse every day.

Leeza: We’ve been receiving reports of strange activities within the project. People are disappearing, and there’s a lot of tension among the staff.

Joel: Disappearing? What do you mean?

Rick: Several members have gone missing without a trace. The ones who were working closely on the heart exchange program are the most affected.

Leeza: That’s not all. We believe there’s a secret group within Peakwest orchestrating this chaos. They seem to have a vested interest in the heart exchanges.

Joel: A secret group? What do they want with the hearts?

Rick: We’re not entirely sure, but the rumors suggest they’re trying to create a new kind of human—one that can harness the powers of the hearts they’re exchanging.

Leeza: It’s like they’re playing God, Joel. This isn’t just about science anymore; it’s about control.

Joel: So, what do we do? How do we stop them?

Rick: We need to gather more intel. Find out who’s involved in this group and how deep their influence runs within Peakwest.

Leeza: It’s a heavy burden, and we can’t trust anyone right now. We have to be discreet.

Joel: Agreed. We can’t let this group continue their plans unchecked. If they’re really exchanging hearts, who knows what they’re capable of?

Rick: Let’s set up a surveillance system. We’ll monitor communications and see if we can identify any suspicious activity.

Leeza: And we should also reach out to those who’ve left the project recently. They might have insights into what’s happening.

Joel: Sounds like a plan. We need to act fast. The longer we wait, the more powerful this group could become.

Rick: We’re already in deep, and it’s only getting worse. We need to ensure the safety of everyone involved.

Leeza: Remember, we have to keep this under wraps. If word gets out, it could jeopardize everything we’ve worked for.

Joel: I’ll do whatever it takes to protect the project. Let’s find out who’s behind this and put a stop to it.

The three exchange determined looks, a silent agreement forming between them as they prepare to confront the unseen threat within Peakwest.

[ Flashback ]

Mary walked ahead with a determined expression, her voice heavy with resolve.

Mary: I don’t have any more reasons to live. I’ll just walk into this hell, face it, and die.

Amanda: It’s okay, but…

Mary: Don’t try to change my mind, Amanda. You’re part of this project too, so just do your job as a Peakwest staff member.

Amanda sighed but didn’t argue. As they continued walking, something caught Amanda's eye.

Amanda: Wait, look!

They both rushed toward a boy lying on the ground, brutally injured, his chest exposed with a visible hole where his heart should have been.

Mary: Hey! What is this?!

Amanda crouched down and immediately started administering first aid.

Amanda: This looks like the work of someone from Peakwest...

Mary: Is he going to be okay?

Amanda: No, not at all. He’s barely hanging on. He doesn’t even have a pulse… I think he’s already dead. His body’s been destroyed.

Mary: Please, try something! Don’t let him die!

Amanda: Fine. Call Sasaki—he’ll know what to do.

Mary: Sasaki? Who is he?

Amanda: No time. Hand me your phone.

Mary quickly gave her phone to Amanda, who dialed Sasaki.

Amanda (on the phone): Sasaki, we need an ambulance now. There’s a boy, critically injured. It’s bad.

Sasaki: I’ll send help immediately.

Amanda hung up and resumed checking the boy. Just then, Mary noticed a faint mumbling from him.

Mary: Amanda! Look, he’s still alive! He’s saying something!

Mary leaned in closer, trying to catch the words he was struggling to say. She spotted an ID card near his body and picked it up.

Mary: His name is Alan Joel… he’s 15 years old.

Alan (mumbling): Dee… Deepika…

Mary: What? What are you saying? Who is Deepika?

Alan (barely audible): Don’t leave me... Deepika… I love you…

His breath started to falter, his body convulsing again.

Mary: Amanda! He’s dying again! Help him!

Amanda quickly checked his pulse again, panic in her voice.

Amanda: Damn it, we’re losing him! We need to keep him stable until the ambulance arrives!

Mary: Alan! Don’t die, please! I’m begging you!

Alan (barely whispering): Deepika... don’t leave me...

Mary’s heart raced as she leaned in closer, desperation overtaking her.

Mary: I won’t leave you, Alan! I’m right here. Your Deepika is here! Please survive, and we can be together. Just hold on!

Amanda, glancing at Mary, couldn’t help but notice the emotion in her voice.

Amanda: Mary… do you know this boy?

Mary: No… I don’t, but—

Amanda: This isn’t like you. Why are you so emotional about this?

Mary: I don’t know… it’s just...

Amanda: A one-sight love?

Mary smiled faintly through her tears.

Mary: Please, Amanda, save him...

Amanda: I’ll do everything I can.

Moments later, the ambulance arrived, and the paramedics began immediate treatment inside. As they raced to the hospital, Amanda glanced at Mary.

Amanda: You’re not okay, are you?

Mary, still shaken, could only mumble.

Mary: Deepika...
