Friday 2pm (1 week later)

Winter's P.O.V.

The week had flown by and I'd spent much of it practicing new choreography with the group in the mornings and having late night rehearsals at the studio.

I had buried myself back into my busy schedule for it gave me a chance to direct my attention on something other than the obvious awkwardness that was emerging between Rina and I.

As a result, I had decided to spend the afternoon composing lyrics and playing my electric guitar that to me just sounded a little off today. Perhaps it was just my imagination or maybe the sound simply replicated the mood I was feeling. Either way, it was hard to focus.

The sound of the front door unlocking caught my attention as Ning Ning arrived home

The sound of the front door unlocking caught my attention as Ning Ning arrived home. She was wearing her casual attire after having spent the past 2 hours at the gym. "Hey, I'm back. Where's Aeri and Jimin?"

"They went out." I muttered while Ning Ning wandered across to the kitchen to pour herself a glass of juice from the fridge.

"Where to?" She asked curiously.

I shrugged my shoulders, my attention still on the strings of the guitar. "Didn't ask."

She scoffed, strolling across to take a seat beside me on the couch. "I see you're as informative as ever. Are you looking forward to the party tomorrow?"

"I guess. Does this sound out of tune to you?" I played one of the strings, listening to the tone that still didn't quite seem right.

"Hmm it's barely noticeable." She reached for a blanket throwing it over her lap as the dorm was rather cold on yet another icy winter's day.

I sighed in dismay. "Which means it is. I knew it was out of key in the recording booth this morning."

"It didn't effect rehearsals, Winter. No one even noticed." Ning Ning replied, reassuringly taking a sip of her juice as she scrolled through her phone.

I frowned at her, playing the string repeatedly again. "I noticed?"

"Yes but you're a bit of a perfectionist with that guitar." She chuckled in response.

"I'm a musician that likes music to actually sounds good, it doesn't make me a perfectionist." I argued back, to me it just seemed like common sense.

"Maybe not but I hope you leave the guitar here at least when we go to Tokyo next weekend." We were all excited about the first overseas trip of the schedule, especially knowing we would be performing a concert at the latter end of the week.

"I'm not sure, I might get inspiration while I'm there." And if that was the case, like it often was, I usually needed my guitar by my side.

"It's 5 nights Winter, you can live without the guitar. Actually that reminds me! I ordered a new camera especially for the trip." She clapped her hands enthusiastically with a wide smile.
