(This chapter takes place 6 months after chapter 5, only because PR22 has been doing nothing interesting except for  stealing money from people in order to survive and stay in the alleyway, wallowing in misery)

I sit in the dark, cold back of the alleyway. I've managed to collect money from other people, and I found out I needed money to survive in this world when they didn't let me take food for free in one of the stores. I also changed the cloak I have, as I came to the conclusion it is massively frown upon in this stranger society. Instead, I managed to find a building which only sold shirts for 17 T (that would be £3.50). Most days I would starve or go without hydration, which wasn't too exciting.

It's quite sunny outside today. There's more people crowding around in the outside shopping centre, maybe there's an event going on? I wouldn't want to get involved in it anyways, so I continue to sit down and do absolutely nothing. I ate yesterday and I had water when I woke up, so I don't need to get myself anything for now. I look up at the blue, clear sky. I see some grey some rising from a distance, and it would be quite hard to notice it if you didn't squint your eyes. Nothing special.

Suddenly, the smoke cloud gets bigger and closer. The people blissfully walking around, enjoying the sunny day stopped to look at what the cause of this, as it seemed to be making some noise- it sounded.. distorted? You couldn't quite make out what noise it was making, gargling, distorted shrieking, yelling, howling, water splashing. This was unusual, and I think everyone else had found it unusual too because they started to run away, shrieking.
"EVERYBODY, RUN FOR YOUR SWEET LIVES!!" a young man shrieks, before running away, only for his head to be sliced right off, as if the air was so strong it could slice through flesh and bone. Oh god.

I stand up and begin to run away as fast as I can, people rushing behind me eagerly and desperately. I'm quite fast at running, so I don't think I will get injured. I turn around to see what had happened, and I wish I did not: I found the cloud of smoke had turned a light shade of red and spread across the sky, colouring it different. People started to emerge from the cloud of smoke, and oh no.. no. Their red cloaks were now cut to their knees, and they were running around with spears, knifes, blades, anything. In the middle of the crows floated the Savior I had followed, he changed. He grew an extra pair of arms that rested on his sides, he grew an extra eyeball that laid on his forehead, and he was covered in blood, not his blood though. Fear washes over me as I begin to run faster. They've found me. I knew this day would come eventually, and I also knew that I would die in the most horrible, treacherous way a person could die.

I try to concentrate on getting somewhere safe, and I notice a person with red hair infront of me running somewhere with many bags, and a lab coat? I follow this person, they seem quite smart, but that's just what I think. They make a turn and run into the forest, breathing and panting heavily, but continue to run. They crouch down and I notice one of those large things you have to twist to open something. I stay quiet to try avoiding getting caught, and the red haired person flings a metal door open, leading into an underground bunker??
"What the hell is this?" I accidentally say out loud to him. Oops. The guy shrieks and turns around, but then realises I'm not a threat to him so he collects himself.
"This is a- wait.. were you following me?"

"Yes."

"Oh. Anyways, this is a bunker. I'm going to stay down here until everything calms down, and you can join me so I don't go insane from isolating myself from another  person!!"
He climbs down the ladder, and I finally get to see what he looks like- red hair up to the bottom of his ears, black goggles, and a small scratch on his forehead. This is literally the only chance I have at surviving this, so I follow him down. The bunker is quite small, not tiny, but just enough to fit maybe 12 people. The walls are made out of metal plates screwed together, the singular shelf has only 2 bottles of water sitting on it and maybe a bag of bread. There's five people down here for some reason, which I didn't expect. It seems that the man I followed was also surprised because he yells this,
"HOW DO YOU PEOPLE FIND MY SECRET HIDDEN THINGS?!?"
