Alix's POV

Lando walked in the paddock alone, which was good news because he would normally always walk in with his PR girl.

I heard she broke up with him. I kinda expected her to do that. Who would stay with a cheater?

My main goal was to get Lando back, but if I could annoy her in the meantime, then it would be a bonus as well.

I was sitting outside the Red Bull hospitality, casually looking around but I was actually waiting for Scarlett.

I half expected her to just quit. She was never gonna be Lando's PR girl still, not after he cheated.

Getting rid of her was definitely a priority, because she was always gonna be a problem.
I noticed it the first time Lando looked at her.

The way he kept eating apples whenever he was around her. He didn't had to say it, but I already suspected he did it to hide his feelings for her.

It clearly didn't work because all of a sudden they were dating.
One day he just walked in the paddock with her. All casually, as if it was the most normal thing in the world.

And then I had to see them together in the media pen all the time. Laughing and giggling with each other, him touching her back, her hands.

The way she looked at him as if he was everything.

I absolutely hated it.

She walked in the paddock, half an hour later than Lando, so they definitely didn't come together.

Instead, she came with Vanna. I didn't like her either. I don't know why Ryle was still dating her but I was pretty sure that he would dump her soon enough.

He wasn't the kind of guy who dated girls for a long time, even though I had to admit, he was dating Vanna for a pretty long time now.

Scarlett's eyes found mine as she walked passed me. She hated me, that was obvious.

Couldn't care less.

To my surprise, Vanna walked up to me, leaving Scarlett to walk alone to the Mclaren hospitality.

"Hello girl" Vanna smiled as she sat down next to me. "How are you?"

"Good good, you?" I asked, putting my sunglasses on. "Yeah good"

"How's Scarlett doing?" I nodded my chin at Scarlett who just walked in the Mclaren hospitality.

Vanna shrugged. "Heartbroken of course"

"What did Lando tell her?" I asked, leaning back in my chair.

Vanna was pretty stupid. I knew she would tell me whatever I wanted to hear. She was so desperately in love with Ryle.

So she would always try to keep me happy.

"He told her that he doesn't remember a thing and you said you were drunk" she said. "How much did you guys drink?"

"A couple of glasses maybe" I shrugged.

"And you get drunk from a couple of glasses?" She raised her eyebrow.

She was getting on my last nerves now. Who did she think she was?

"There's the prettiest girl in the paddock" Ryle interrupted our conversation and kissed Vanna. It was just a quick peck but it annoyed me.

Why did he have to date her? Out of everyone.

"Only in the paddock?" Vanna frowned. "Yeah well, I haven't seen every girl in the world, have I?" Ryle laughed, sat down next to her and put his arm around her chair.

"What's up sis? You okay?" He nodded at me. "Yeah I'm fine"

"You're not looking too great, let's go out for dinner tonight?"

"Just us two?" I asked. Didn't want Vanna there, not at all.

"Yeah just the two of us" he nodded.

I could see it bothered Vanna, but she could hang out with Scarlett since she would be all alone. Since she couldn't hang out with Lando anymore.

Perfect.
