It was now eleven in the morning, and it was the second day that Chloe had been here with Johnny at his - their new home.
Johnny had been trying to get into Chloe's phone as he had just woken up five minutes ago and wondered if there was anything he could use that was in the phone, but he has yet to get into the phone as there was a pass code.
Johnny had tried a few guesses from how much he knew about Chloe, and he had yet to get it right. He only had one guess left from getting locked. He needed Chloe's assistance.
She's calmed down since last night. He doesn't know if she slept well or at all to his knowledge. Getting up, he walked down the hall to the living room, Chloe's head was facing the opposite side and clearly awake.
Chloe looked up and saw Johnny walking to her. She uncomfortably tries to move away from him with no success.
Johnny wanted to scold her, but he didn't want to put her in a bad mood again. Taking the cloth out of her mouth, having the cloth hang around her neck, making it look like a fancy white tie. He crouched down to her level and held up her phone.
"I need the code."
"Yeah, right." She scoffed, not taking her eyes off him.
"Chloe." He sighed, "I need to text people so they're not suspicious, I already have Rachel on my ass from last night's fuck up."
"Why? What did you say?"
"I slipped and said you were at Two Whales. Honestly, Rachel is a very intimidating person."
Chloe chuckled, "Yeah, that's part of her charm, I suppose. But I'm not giving you my pass code."
Johnny felt slightly frustrated with the blue haired girl, but he didn't want to show it, and he could always try and convince her another way.
He stood up and played with her hair, making her flinch away from the sudden action. She looked away from him to try and ignore his presence. Though the hair playing got repetitive quick so she moved her head away from his hand.
"Would you fucking stop! God, I'm not a dog." She snapped.
"Oh, I'm sorry, Chloe, you used to let me play with your hair all the time." He said in a sympathetic tone.
Chloe rolled her eyes, "You mean before you decided to go all psychopathic on me?"
Johnny shook his head and held up the phone again, "The pass code. Now."
Chloe sighs before giving up. In trying to ignore it, she failed, so she looked up at him with a glare. "Fine. Put in 'stepladder'."
Johnny did but gave her a questioning look, and Chloe shook her head with an eye roll, "It's something me and Rachel use to call David. More of a - you know what, forget it."
"I'd start behaving if I were you, Chloe, who knows, I could always find something in this phone."
Johnny knew she had quite a history with bad people, and he wasn't actually going to blackmail anyone, but if it was to keep her in check, he would lie about it.
Johnny was about to put the gag back in her mouth until she spoke, "I need the bathroom."
Oh shit!
He totally forgot about that. What if Chloe had to use the bathroom last night and he completely forgot? If that were to be the case, she would have already gone, right?
"Okay, but don't do anything once I let you out of the chair. Got it?"
Chloe slowly nodded.
Once she was free, she let him manhandle her to the bathroom down the hall. The house wasn't too big, just a two floor house with one bedroom and one bathroom and the second floor was just a huge attic that could be used for a second bedroom or something or even some kind of office.
But it was probably full of storage.
As Chloe entered the bathroom, she went to close the door, but Johnny stopped her.
"No funny business, I'll look away, but if you do anything, I'll know."
Chloe nodded before going to the toilet, pulling her pants and underwear down to her knees and sitting on the toilet. She looked out the window for a good ten seconds before cooking up an idea.
What if she quietly escaped through the window?
It's risky, but she could probably pull it off, considering that she sneaked out of her bedroom window since she was sixteen.
She looked back at Johnny and saw he was still facing the other way. Looking back at the window, she placed her index and middle fingers to the metal sill, slowly pushing the window up. She felt the refreshing wind as she stopped to pull up her underwear and pants, flushing the toilet as another distraction.
She looked back at Johnny again and saw his back was still facing her. With another silent breath of relief, she turned back to the window and slid it up more, feeling more of the wind enter the room.
She turned back to Johnny, jumping in surprise when she saw him looking back at her with a displeased expression. Chloe wasted no time going through the window. As she was halfway out, she felt Johnny wrap his arms around her waist, pulling her back in.
Chloe hit her head on the window, making her slightly dizzy as she was being pulled back to the living room - back to the chair. Chloe quickly started elbowing Johnny on his right side. Three jabs in, and she was finally released.
She was still dizzy, and now nauseous, she ran out the door of the house, stumbling down the three stone steps before crouching down and vomiting.
Johnny lived only five minutes out of the neighborhood, but that didn't stop her from yelling if she had to, but she couldn't focus on that as she stood up and ran down Johnny's decently long drive way before running on the side of the road.
She was slow in running, but she had a good speed.
Chloe then heard the worst noise possible.
Johnny had started the car.
Now, he was for sure to catch up to her. She looked back. There was nothing yet, but the car engine was close by. She hadn't even made halfway, and yet she was so close to freedom. She turned back again and saw Johnny, he driving slow.
Oh no...
Oh no, no, no, no.
Chloe focused on running quicker as she looked forward again, so far so good, but where the hell was she supposed to run? Could she risk running towards the woods and getting lost or caught by Johnny? Or keep running down the road and get caught by Johnny?
He was just tormenting her at this point. He could just shoot her and injure her anytime if he wanted.
She then heard his voice shouting out to her, "Are you getting tired yet? We can do this all day!"
Chloe didn't look back.
"Come on, Chloe! You know we're far out from the town!"
Shut up! Shut the hell up!
Chloe so badly wanted to yell back at him, but she didn't want to lose her footing. She didn't want to waste her energy on people who weren't there to hear her.
"Chloe!" She heard.
Her legs were getting tired, her breathing was getting uneven, she didn't want to give up yet, she wanted to see Rachel again, she wanted to play D&D with Steph and Mikey again. Chloe continued with what energy she had left in her, ignoring Johnny's voice over the loud driving.
"Come on, Chloe, get in the car! You're clearly tired!"
Chloe then collapsed two seconds later from exhaustion, falling hard to the ground. Her vision was blurry, and her head was still in pain from the window.
She heard the car stop right next to her, and what she assumed was Johnny getting out of the car. She couldn't keep her eyes open, she was too tired. Chloe wanted to keep her eyes open.
She saw Johnny's shoes before blacking out from exhaustion.
