Two months passed, and Rachel had yet to meet Johnny, as this was his plan in the first place. Rachel shrugged it off the first two times, but it started getting repetitive, and she was beginning to get pissed off at Chloe for it.
As unfair as it was to Chloe, Johnny couldn't help but feel like his plan was working. By the next few weeks (or sooner), Chloe would be all his and all she'll need.
"I can't believe she blew me off again!" Chloe mumbled to herself, resting her head on Johnny's shoulder.
Chloe had tried once more to get in reach of Rachel, and it went south as per usual. Chloe tossed her phone aimlessly as Johnny went to rest his head on top of Chloe's.
Johnny kissed her head and took hold of her hand, "Don't worry about it, sweet Chloe, she's not your problem anymore if she's acting like this."
"But Rachel always had my back, even if we had an argument." Chloe mumbled.
It was a few days since Rachel spoke to Chloe, and she's been crashing at Johnny's for those few days since Joyce and David would be of no help. Chloe slept on the pull-out couch since Johnny didn't have a guest bedroom.
Especially David.
He was still on Chloe about seeing Johnny. This made him more pissed off with David than he already had been. David had made Chloe's life a living hell enough as it is. Johnny's next plan in action was simple, and hopefully, Chloe would say yes to it.
"Chloe, maybe she's just - uh - going through things at home?"
Chloe looked up at him, "I would know about it, but her behavior lately says otherwise..."
"Chloe, it's okay, you have me... Also, I was wondering something."
Chloe hummed in acknowledgment.
"We spoke about this before, um, since everything is so hectic lately," Johnny sighed. "Would you like to move in with me?"
Chloe looked up at him again, with a smile this time in happiness. She sat up right and stared at him. God, those beautiful piercing blue eyes, her eyes he could look into all day in he wanted, and that bright smile of hers? Even more beautiful! But in general sense, Chloe was just a beautiful and sensitive person.
"It's about time you asked me, Johnny!" She exclaimed, shoving his shoulder.
"Heh, well, I just wanted a right time -"
"Yeah, I get that, but I've been ready to live with you, Johnny. Ever since you first brought it up, actually."
Johnny smiled as she pecks his lips and got up from the couch and went to the kitchen, her voice distant when she spoke up again, offering a beer they could share. Johnny accepted, and the two spent the next hour planning for Chloe's big move.
The couple spent the next week packing Chloe's stuff that she needed to move her stuff into Johnny's bedroom. As happy as she was to be moving in with her boyfriend, she was still upset with Rachel and decided to finally confront her about it. But Johnny kept her mind off of that problem. For now.
David wasn't happy when she was in the process of packing. They had another argument, and neither of them knew Johnny was listening the whole time. This time, Johnny had had enough of David. He had to do something about him.
Once everything was officially done and Chloe said her farewells to Joyce and David (just to humor her mother), and had everything she needed, the couple drove back to Johnny's house and placed Chloe's suitcase on the bed, Chloe told Johnny she had one last thing she needed to do.
Chloe drove to Rachel's, but Rachel didn't know about her coming by until the blue haired girl showed up at her house. Chloe didn't feel comfortable at the Amber house being the location of the talk, but she couldn't hold it in anymore. Unfortunately, her parents were home.
She had to be unlucky.
Her father died, Max leaving, and Joyce was with David, and now Rachel.
What else could possibly go fucking wrong?
Chloe walked up to the front door and knocked, waiting a minute before Rose answered with a polite smile and spoke up with her usual soft spoken tone.
"Ah, Chloe, it's good to see you again."
Chloe thought otherwise, considering the chaos she'll be making soon enough. She didn't want to keep this going for too long. She had to hurry this up.
"Heya, Mrs. Amber," Chloe started waving her arms back and forth, "Is Rachel home?"
"Yes, she's up in her room. I can go and get her if you want?"
Chloe shook her head instantly, "Uh, no, no, that's okay, Mrs. Amber, I won't be here long anyway, I just need to talk to her."
Rose had finally let Chloe in, and she wasted no time to head up to Rachel's bedroom, Chloe had thought about what to specifically to say to her, and it took a lot of brain power as she was never good with her words. This was possibly the end of a friendship that Chloe so desperately loved.
With a sigh, she knocked on Rachel's door and heard a soft 'come in'.
Here goes nothing.
“Chloe, what are you doing here?” She heard Rachel say in a bitter but confused tone.
“Ahh, um, Rachel, I need to talk to you. And I want you to listen until I finish what I need to say.”
“What? What do you mean?”
Rachel sat up straight, looking Chloe in the eyes, telling Chloe that Rachel was interested and concerned.
“We have to talk about… Us. And Johnny.”He wondered if she was okay. It worried him with how urgent she sounded, almost like it was more important than what had just happened. She should have been happy that she was moving in! Not dwelling on other unimportant stuff.
But he was glad, though. This gave him the opportunity to remove an abusive asshole from Chloe's life. Now, she can be happier.
Once Johnny had shoveled the dirt back into the ground, seemingly as nothing happened, he pulled out his phone and checked on Chloe.

𝒊'𝒎 𝒈𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌𝒔Johnny wanted to send an emoji just to mess with her. It ended up with her threatening him once again. This just shows that she's back to her usual Chloe-self, so there was nothing for Johnny to worry about, thankfully.
Johnny got home late. It was twelve thirty AM, and Chloe was fast asleep in the bedroom. She was spread out like a starfish, so that confirmed that she was tired.
Johnny chuckled and softly but firmly shook her awake, "Chloe... Wake up, sweetheart."
Chloe groans as she slowly opens her eyes and sees her boyfriend in the dark. She smiled as she sat up in a lazy manner, though she looked up at him questionably when she felt something drop on her.
"What? Why are you giving me that look?"
"Hm, why am I? You have dirt all over your shirt and your hands... Johnny, what did you do? Play in the dirt?"
"Uh, no, I just fell."
Chloe wipes off the dirt and stands up, walking to the entrance of the room and turning on the light switch. She almost snickered when she saw Johnny.
She was both amused and concerned, "Johnny, for real, what happened? And don't give me bulshit."
Well shit.
